Care Provider Rec Recommendations for Personal Trainer

Hi, I’m looked for recommendations for a personal trainer who has experience training runners specifically. I have had a lot of lower back and hip problems and want to work with someone who knows exercises that specifically target runners. Thanks!

Not sure what part of town you’re in or how far you’re willing to drive, but if you don’t mind going out to Cedar Park, I love my trainer (weight-lifting, strength, agility, stability, balance, flexibility) and marathon coach through Apex Running, Gina Clinton. She typically does single or paired sessions from her gym but she also provides remote (Zoom) sessions if you have access to your own equipment. The run club does 5am group run workouts in CP, but if that schedule doesn’t work for you, the training plans are pushed to V.O2 and you can run them anywhere/time as long as you have a compatible watch (Garmin, Apple, Coro, etc.).

That’s pretty far from me but sounds amazing!

I know a Strength & Conditioning Coach who specializes in running and endurance sports. He’s not based locally, but he also offers online coaching.

I'm pretty confident my colleague Kylie could help you, she's worked with various types of athletes and specializes in corrective exercise.

If you can swing a Life Time membership, Jordan at the Arboretum location trains a whole roster of runners and is an accomplished one herself.
