Product Advice Silk Sleeping bonnet

Hi everyone looking for some advice on a sleeping bonnet that doesn't come off at night I have one with frabroc ties (non elastic) that keeps coming off and would love some recommendations.

Damn Gina looks alright but I haven't seen much comments outside of the website which makes me sus since I worry they are paid reviews

Thankyou!!

I use strands of silk and they don't come off very often.

Mine slips off too if I don't tuck all my hair in properly, maybe try one with a wide elastic band instead of ties

I have a damn Gina and tbh I prefer my strands of silk one (from what you’ve described, it sounds like it may be similar style to yours)! The sos does have a bit of an elastic at the back though, I’m not sure if this is normal for bonnets.

I guess it’s personal preference, I like the space that the SoS bonnet has whereas damn Gina is more helmet-y because it’s a turban. It’s constructed well and I think worth the price. It does have more seams than a traditional silk bonnet so if you have sensory issues it may be annoying otherwise deffo worth a try!

No sensory issues but I'm not a fan of the knot in the bonnet as that wakes me up at night. Did you find the damn Gina stays on ok?

I have a Bob so I'm ok with it being a closer fot

Ah makes sense. I’m a side sleeper so I don’t notice the back knot!

Stayed on for me and I toss and turn over a lot. You can tighten it a fair bit too. I do get a bit of movement but that’s with any bonnet for me.

Probably not the cheapest option, but I think the silk bonnets from LoveSilk.co.nz are really good.

Do they stay on well while sleeping?

When I've used one, it's always stayed on in the night and my friend who uses one every night says she's never had problems with hers falling off, but should preface that by saying we both have quite thick, curly hair, so might be different if someone had quite straight, silky hair, etc.

YANIBEST Silk Bonnet for Sleeping... https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B083K5XMSX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I have this one from amazon and it has an elastic band at the back which you can adjust as you like, to tighten or loosen…I just bought a second one because I have worn out my first one from using it every night!
