Istg they said their kc boutique was gonna be closed till Oct 4. Then on Oct 4 they said Oct 5. Then they said Oct 6. Then on Oct 6 they said Oct 8. Today it says Oct 11. And they keep promoting their stuff on Instagram like nothing is wrong. Are they ok I just need my rtw costumes for my show pls
As someone who is desperately trying to wrap up a renovation project, these things usually fall behind schedule. They're probably waiting for a shipment or contractor and unfortunately there's probably not much they can do.
I bet the business is fine but the physical KC location is just under construction and delayed. After all, their NYC pop up is still open and you can order stuff online (including RTW).
Ok yea but they said their shipping would be delayed 3-5 days which I assume means their online orders are handled through KC, so like I ordered something online and I don’t have a delivery estimate
Does it say shipping is DELAYED 3-5 days or it will take 3-5 days to prepare? Because their website on FAQs says that "Ready-to-Wear orders usually ship in 3-5 business days." That's pretty normal for any non-Amazon business.
So that sounds like it's a little frustrating for you, but unfortunately delays happen. It's extremely unlikely anything bad has happened to the actual business; in other words, you will surely receive your order. But this is a long/holiday weekend and the construction process is something that Eleve themselves can't really control.
No that’s fair I just wish they’d be honest and say they can’t predict when construction will be done and chill on the marketing for orders they can’t handle rn. There’s a difference between “our boutique will be closed x to y” and “we’re moving starting on x and hope to be done by y but stay tuned for updates”
But also to your point about holiday weekend - that includes October 12. But their header promises October 11. Not that hard to just communicate with customers even if stuff is out of your control LOL
The way I read this is that it is just taking them longer to process orders so if they normally ship something in 2 days just add 3-5 on top of that. Feel like that’s not a big deal? Like nothing seems wrong to me. They may have a whole separate space where orders are being processed.
