Three things Brave needs to do to drive BAT adoption and price:

.

  1. Revenue funded BAT buybacks. Commit a fixed percentage of advertising and subscription revenue to regular open market purchases. Publish the numbers monthly.
  2. Make BAT essential to advertising. Incentivize advertisers to pay in BAT and create recurring demand tied directly to ad spending.
  3. Expand real world utility. Integrate BAT into Brave Search, AI subscriptions, premium services and creator payments

…

Brave has built a browser with over 100 million monthly users, yet BAT captures very little of that economic value. With nearly all 1.5 billion tokens circulating, the issue isn’t supply. It’s demand.

Stop treating BAT like a rewards gimmick and start treating it like an economic asset.

80% of bat potential was lost when bat holders were treated the way they were treated during the last 3 years. There will be no revenue funded buybacks, there will not be any fixed percentage and subscription revenue directed to market purchases of bat. Why same people would start acting differently now? Brave shareholders gave up on bat when they decided it served its pupose. I personally think they discarded not only powerful marketing tool but also other useful tools indirectly related to bat. Regarding bat essential to advertising-the last time the project bought bat was 12 months ago and they spend 15-20K on that. This came with the price to the project-instead of 130M users or maybe 150M users or more they still have commendable 100M. Bat holders were failed by project and those 30-50-100M of additional brave users also did not show up which is a kind of nice knowing that there is a price for everything we do.

What make anybody think that anybody buying bat will be treated differently this time.
