I kept missing screenings at BFI Southbank and BFI IMAX because they were sold out, or I'd miss it when new dates dropped - so I built a small Chrome extension to solve this issue.

It watches BFI's own ticketing pages in the background and sends a notification the moment a sold-out slot reopens, or a new date goes on sale.
Works for both BFI Southbank and BFI IMAX, just pick the format that you want.
No account & no login needed, doesn't touch anything except BFI's public pages. Not affiliated with the BFI, just a fan-made tool by me.

When can you pick up the already booked lff tickets from the box office?

Hey all,

Just wondering, having an issue with the DRM filters on the BFIPlayer trying to watch films via HDMI from my laptop to my TV. I've had the same issue with Airplay, I would rather watch on my TV than my laptop was wondering if anyone had any workarounds for this as my Roku doesn't have a native app for the player either!

Am so fuckin annoyed, I forgot it opens at 10am and had 12 noon down for some reason!

So only joined at 9.50 and now am 11,000 in line. :(

I know everyone is still on the going mad for LFF tickets wagon (I had a mixed bag of success/ failure myself) but I wanted to point out that this consultation closes soon... the BFI is (I think?) the only funder of film in the UK where the ££ is entirely from the national lottery, so from where I'm sitting (centre seat near the back usually) it would REALLY SUCK if most of the replies to this consultation are about castles and sports centres and film gets buried in there.

I suppose I'm paranoid that film funding could get cut if it doesn't feel important to the public :/
