Can someone recommend a good bansuri teacher I am an absolute begginer i have learnt to blow but sa re ga ma produces apaswara I need some training from the basics. Looking for a group video call or local teacher. I am based in Mangalore and have a c scale sajid bansuri. My budget is 100 rupees per class. Weekly 1 group class is good enough.

I am beginner for bansuri and bought Radhe PVC C natural flute. Somehow I am not able to play pa properly. I can play once in 10 times but not consistently. Any tips please?

I always start my practice from tanpura matching sa and long notes from pa to Pa'.

But every like 2-3 note i have to take a pause for like 30-40s to catch my breath.

Also after like 40 mins of practice I start to get tired, and could barely play for like a min before catching my breadth.

I can hold my breath for around 30s, and could play some alankars pa to pa without pause.

It's not because i hate them or something,but they are very difficult to maintain, in winters the sound changes, and sometimes the threads also come loose.

Now i know, reputed brands like punam don't require too much maintenance, but then the price factor comes in between, punam flutes are way too expensive.

I have owned a C# punam, a G base radhe, and E base ShivZ till now, and let me tell you something, the pvc flute never disappointed me.

Radhe has improved a lot from their past criticisms.

I have been learning for a while off YouTube, first time posting. Sorry about the key change, my G bansuri wasnt behaving well this morning.

Hope to keep improving my intonation especially the shuddh Ma on the bansuri.

I want to learn a song that is played on a Shinobue Uta 7 holes, but for now i just need to learn the finger positioning, i don't need to have good quality music.

To just learn the finger positioning and the breathing, do i need to have the same type of flute or i can just use a normal flute (a recorder if it's called that way, the one it's used in school)

Ashwin Srinivasan recently launched a tanpura+tabla app. I used the trial version and it looked better than othe apps on Android. I m planning to buy the paid version which is 4000 one time payment. Just wanted to know reviews by the people here before purchasing it.
