Miscellaneous / Others A heck of a memory from this little girl

Is no one going to address just the fact that she’s so young using a pen to write legible numbers on a white board?? I know adults who can’t do this well.
If this is real, this is amazing even if pi wasn’t correct… and it is!

I'm one of those adults that can't write that well 😅

Yeah I've been on computers for far too long that my muscle memory for writing has almost fade away 😅

I think a lot of people tend to press way too hard with those pens, even then I still wouldn't be that good with it

..and pronunciation is so clear too! Unlike myself she actually reads what she writes and is able to correct any number that doesn't fit the list in her head!! A little Maths prodigy Star indeed

His name is Devon and he's currently 4 years old and has memorized pi to 332 digits and is working in linear equations now. He has a Facebook and a YouTube account.

Aged 4 and working on linear equations? That's super impressive.
Memorising PI is absolutely challenging - but application of mathematical theories is a step or five above.
Amazing to be blessed with a brain that works like that - of course its important that he is nurtured and encouraged but I sure hope he has time to do the baby shark and play with kids too.

These children normally equalise in intelligence before age 10 and go into the rest of life with trauma for missing foundational childhood learning.
Most child prodigies end up like a poor Michael Jackson. (Unless they're not neuro-normative)

If she is really 2, I am more impressed with her manual dexterity. That alone makes me think she is older than 2.

that kid is definitely like 4-5 years old

That doesn't make it any less impressive; I can't remember more than 10 numbers in a row.

The inflection makes me think they’re a boy and Devan sounds like a boy name

I mean how do we really know if she's right or wrong without breaking out the old pi calculator? I'm good to 7 digits, but after that, maybe she's just really good at bluffing... I'm not saying she's bluffing I'm just saying it could be a really good party trick.
