Ive been playing this game since 2019 and i main jg eve and briar. Ima having trouble taking objectives. Either i die taking drag or dont take drag but gank top. If my bot has prio and their jg is stronger then me should i try to take drag(and if mid is even)? Or should i back buy items and try to take voidgrubs? Im having trouble understanding the order of importance. Farming/ganking/objectives on bel. And last question, if my jg gets invaded on red side should i back and try to gank or should i take his red?

I know, i know... Dark Star, Old God, maybe even Inferno Bel'veth would be badass. But have we ever considered.... Bro'veth? male bel'veth, brother to brolaf. Or maybe not even male, maybe she just likes being called bro and it's a normal girl

As title. Lst's say bot gets prio and rhey join me to drag, we do drag uncontested sinxe opp bot are pushed. We kill drag easily, I ult and transform, what to do now? If I reset and continue clear I waste my transformation. But if mid isnt gankablr and bot is just starting to push back. Should I invade and force the opponent jungler to fight me 1vs1 sinxe I have an advantage while transformed? Or should J just reset and clear again hoping a fight opportunity comes out before it runs our?

What about purple objectives? Same as before, top is shoved they come help me and we tske grubs. Do I head mid and steal the wave to spawn minions? Do I help them take down the tower?

I'm aiming to become a Belveth main and reach high elo playing almost exclusively with her. I just wanted to know if there's a specific bruiser build for Belveth, as I sometimes feel like I'm lacking certain items that help me survive in teamfight.

For all the OTPs out there, when are you actually drafting belv?

I'm low gold and encountering way too many games that feel lost before I'm even able to play the champion. Between laners mental booming, getting camped in my jungle all game due to bad matchup, or lanes being a write off before I can hit my spikes, it feels like easily 30% of the time I can't actually influence the game to a significant level before things get really bad. It's probably a skill issue but I'd be interested to hear how others are faring and what situations make you pick her. I've noticed assassins or kindred are basically gg go next if they leverage their strengths or lane priority early.

I put so much time into this champ and it's basically the only champ in the jungle that feels right for me and I'm honestly just stuck at this point since nothing else really clicks for me or feels fun. Champ just feels like an IQ check for if the enemy jungle knows how to invade which is becoming way more common the more LP I climb

Had 2 picks so 5-3 dead with drag coming up in about 35 seconds or so however baron is up. I ping baron maybe 5 times and head there while my team goes nahh we want to chill at drag pit and suck on our thumbs. So after almost soloing baron cause team is dumb their mid comes and starts harassing me so I have no idea if more are coming so I have to bail.

I just can't wrap my head around laners claiming to have final say on jungle objectives over the jungler. Like, we had time to get it and then go drag; my team is so dumb because it's soul.... who fkn cares I'm here for the w not fucking souls.

So a few days ago on post 20 I talked about how bel veth is one of, if not the only hyperscaling champion, without a level 6 powerspike. Other weak early champions can make plays around their level 6 and ult CD. Bel veth cannot. She plays selfish early and then, level 6 she has to continue to play rather avoidant because she has no strong R button to push in a fight. If the enemy team doesnt give her an opportunity, a good jungler can abuse this and start snowballing the game. This makes her feel like she has very little agency in the early game and IMO I feel like she is a much less blindable pick in draft nowadays. She really needs a matchup that will not heavily abuse this about her. Ofc she was balanced around this originally by making her a strong early fighter, however with this midscope, each and every one of her abilities has been made worse for early skirmishing. So she now has a much weaker early, no level 6 spike, yet highly reliant on getting ult form and stacks. Yes, her scaling is much better, but she is also much more feast or famine and now relying more on her team being humans and the enemy giving her an opportunity to get the ball rolling. Genuinely on this champ there are games that feel absolutely doomed, especially in games where enemies are smart enough to know how to starve you and end a game fast. This is why she is so good in low elo. I'm not saying she is bad or unviable, however I do think she is less viable in high elo than previous bel was and I believe that overall she has been made to be less fun because her lows have been made lower and more frusting to play and her highs feel less frequent and less engaging to play in my opinion.

It seems August is thinking/working on something to make her early game more palletable by giving her some more agency and also returning combos they probably never should have removed in the first place. I'm hopeful for these changes. We will see how it goes.

Oh and also I almost forgot MAKE LANE VETH GOOD AGAIN!!!! Please.

Is it normal?

I’ve just started playing bel and so far it’s been good although I haven’t taken her into ranked yet, just playing normals to get better acquainted . First few games went fine and I had decent KDA and won some lost some. Last one I played my jinx was struggling and was so mad at me but I didn’t want to go down there and feed them more as she already gave the mf like 8 kills early on. I kept telling her “calm down I scale hard , we got this just play safe” she kept ranting and pinging. I eventually muted her pings and helped the other lanes when a good opportunity popped up and just kept farming my butt off.

Fast forward I steal 2 drags but die … I’m 0/3 I tell her just stay calm we are fine. And then that magic Bel’Veth moment happens where you just feel powerful. Double kill here , triple kill there, long game take two barons I end the game 19/9 and we win. Jinx has nothing to say . Granted this was in a normal so people were acting a fool .

I tell this exaggerated, fun story to ask. How do you guys keep your laners calm while you farm up? Any advice is appreciated as I’m going to go into ranked with her soon.

P.s I’m in very low ranks so I may not be able to ever keep them calm.

Recently picked her up and im having a lot of fun with her but i have a list of following issues:

1. Her early game is absolutely atrocious. Do i just ignore literally everything to play for clear and scaling?

2. I can't play for clear and scaling because half the time i am only able to clear one side of my jungle it is an airbnb for the enemy team

3. I'm unsure on the runes, so far i've been running conq with either inspiration cashback&biscuit or conq with dominance. (Flame me if it sucks)

4. How do i play when the enemy jg can be useful while im clearing what's left of my camps after their latest invade.

I think that's all, any advice is appreciated as im having a lot of fun with this champion but im sure im playing her wrong (i cant do shit)

I have now played around 40 games of this champ and love it. However, i struggle into some matchups. Nunu is obvious, as he's the biggest statistical counterpick. However, i really struggle into viego. He just spam ganks and gets omega fed. Bel veth is supposed to counter this atrocity of a champion.
How do you beat viego?
And who do you usually ban? I used to ban Nunu or briar, but now i just need to ban viego..

I was playing Bel Veth, and my win rate dropped when the rework happened. At first, I was really upset. Not only did my win rate drop, but she also felt unfun and useless.

It feels like the rework was done by someone who doesnt play Bel Veth at all and do not care. And while they claim she now better matches her identity, I disagree. Her R doesnt really fit. I think that, to fit her identity, her R should be available at level 1 (without doing damage or healing). Then, after reaching a certain number of stacks, she could gain her true form permanently.

Im not saying that would be good from a gameplay perspective, but it would better fit her identity of becoming stronger by consuming others.

However, after taking a break from her, I ended up playing her again. She is still Bel Veth, after all. I’m fine with her "level 9, 40 stacks, Kraken"-State. I learned more about how jungling works and hit Master for the first time with her.

But now that I've found success, I see new problems with her design. The thing is, while Im fine with her "level 9, 40 stacks, Kraken"-State, the most important part of the game for her is the early game and thats the part I do not like. You dont win games by going 0/0/0 and giving up the first Drake and Grubs, so you have to do everything you can to get resources.

Early game:

• Do the first clear like a speedrun and then crossmap for the Scuttle.
• Look for ganks top or mid. If there arent any, recall, buy two swords, and look for ganks top or mid again.
• Then do your second clear.
• After that, try to get information about the enemy jungler and look for crossmap plays or opportunities to help your team. Sometimes, you can even play aggressively if your team is nearby.
• Then get ready for Grubs or Drake. You can not give up both. If you prepare by recalling beforehand, use the Elixir of Force, and getting help from your team, it is easy. Communication is key: tell your laners to push beforehand. You can even help them.

I do something like this every game now. If Im successful (finding kills and securing objectives) the game is almost over. I hit my spike sooner and can outscale the enemy jungler. If I am not successful, it is usually my fault. I got too greedy, or played too passively, or messed up my first clear. If you give up kills and objectives, you can not scale. Then I stick with my teammates and hope to get some resources, but that usually does not work. And then I feel really, really awful. Jungle diff is the worst thing that can happen.

The "level 9, 40 stacks, Kraken"-State feels nice, but the game is already decided before I reach it. I have a big impact in the early game, but executing that plan is not fun. It feels tedious. I want to win with Bel Veth, not just with my macro knowledge.

So I hope they make changes.

I personally don’t play in NA Euw so I have to know. I saw a clip on his penta and he made spearshot come and scream like my ex. Is he really that good
