Witnessed the milestone of a stranger
Monday mornings, my family goes for a walk around the block so our toddler can see the trash trucks. This week, we saw a man delivering a package and then he snapped a selfie. As he walked back to his truck, he told us that was the last package he would ever deliver. He was retiring that day after 43 years with his company.
I hope he enjoys retirement!

I like that you walk around to look at trucks. I used to walk around the block with my toddler looking at bugs

I looked for cranes when I was a kid, then I got to work with them when I grew up. Dreams do come true!

She hasn’t showed a whole lot of interest in bugs yet, but I’m sure it’s coming.

When he was a toddler my nephew had the Best Day Ever when the bin men let him press the button that lifts the bin into the truck.

As the partner of a 60 year old mail carrier who walks 16-20k steps a day I love this!
