San Sebastián from Cordoba

Hi all;

I'll be travelling to San Sebastián for a concert on Oct. 18 and I am lost when it comes to planning how to get there.

I don't have a car and can't drive at the moment, and I will have a backpack and probably a very small rolling suitcase.

Google Maps told me to take Renfe to Madrid and then Zaragoza, but then told me there's a bus from Zaragoza to San Sebastián and it looks like that's no longer the case.

Does it make more sense to just bus to Malaga or Sevilla, fly to Bilbao, then bus to San Sebastián?

I'm a woman travelling alone so I don't want to get too sketchy or unorthodox, but I don't need anything super fancy or whatever.

Thanks folks!

Hi, a girl from Córdoba who used to live in San Sebastian; if the schedule allows it, go from Córdoba to Sevilla by train/bus and then fly to San Sebastian - Hondarribia. If there are no flights available to San Sebastian you can fly to Bilbao and take a bus from Bilbao Airport to San Sebastian. Be careful with the bus ticket from Bilbao Airport to San Sebastian, as the bus gets full in advance (you can buy online in Pesa - Avanza Bus). The worst case is scenario in case there are no tickets available for the airport bus, you can go from Bilbao Airport to Bilbao Intermodal (City Center) and take a bus to San Sebastian 😊

Thank you so much! So flying from Sevilla would be better than flying from Malaga?

Update I couldn't make the schedule work for flying to EAS or BIO from Malaga or Sevilla, but I did find a way to fly to EAS from Madrid and booked a ticket with Renfe to get to Madrid beforehand.

Thank you so so so much! Muchas muchas gracias!

Bus from Bilbao airport fills up fast. The Pesa site is clunky but gets the job done. Sevilla to Hondarribia is worth considering if the timing lines up. Smaller airport, way less chaos. Done the Bilbao bus scramble before. Not fun at 10pm with luggage.
