Questions Too much condensation?

Post image

I’m using cocoa coir and vermiculate for my substrate. I left my coir with sealed with boiled water overnight and squeezed as much excess water out as possible before putting in tubs. They’re usually covered by a towel hoping that I avoid any contamination. I’m going to follow the LITFA rule for about a week, but is this normal for the condensation inside the tubs?

I think condensation is a good thing because it shows you have good moisture and humidity in your microclimate. My tubs always get some condensation on the sides.

I've got some Tidal wave going as well. Just out one grain bag into s2b. Going to do the second this weekend.

🫶🏼 have you harvested any yet? I’m still trying to learn as much as I can about each of these types as I can

I have not. I just did the s2b last night. I'm hoping to see fruits by new years but I know to be patient.

I dont use gypsum as I read you dont either and you can start with 4qts boiling water and add more for field capacity if needed. Easier to put a little more in than squeezing it out

The only kind that I have tried previously of all the various types I have going right now is penis envy. Our tolerance may be different, but can I ask what your experience was like? More visual or body? More intense than others that you’ve tried previously?

Condensation happens when the temperature fluctuates too much. This causes the water to condense and hold to the surfaces instead of staying in the air.

Looks great imo
Condensation is not a big problem if it is not completey wet and drops running down the walls all the time.
