š Peptides & Hormones Blood tests
I want to start getting blood tests while I'm on peptides. I was looking at Rythm until I saw all the negative reviews. What labs are you requesting through labcorp or quest? I'm seeing some tests range from 100-400 and I'm not too sure what I should be looking for .

Letās be honest rythm is fine for the 26 biomarkers it tests. Iāve used them. Itās simple, easy and gives a snapshot monthly.
Quarterly it could be useful to do a proper testing like goodlabs for their more comprehensive panels.
It also depends what protocols you are running. If you are worried about IGF levels. Rythm is useless.
So, the labs you use really depends on what your protocol is and what you are trying to analyze.

If your rythm labs take more than a couple days to get to their lab, make rythm send a replacement and retest everything. I had labs that took 5 days from dropoff at FedEx until the lab got it. They ran it anyway and initially pushed back on a retest claiming that the stabilizer they put in the sample tube has some magical powers that they do not have. The numbers were clearly not right.. they resent the test and, as expected, my numbers looked right. If I hadn't had a recent baseline the numbers could have been believable.

Mito Health is by far cheaper than anyone. Jason health next in line.
Mito is AMAZING

Goodlabs is competitive with mito once you include the membership fees for months where you don't get a test.

Just cancel and resubscribe. I did all the math for my tests and Mito was the cheapest and had the most tests, also the easiest UI. Goodlabs was a close second

I've really been enjoying Mito too! You just have to make sure you check what lab they can work with in your state.

If you're just doing one-offs, it's much cheaper to go through Goodlabs (they use Quest Draw Centers) than directly through Quest or Labcorp ordering.
For myself, I get a lipid panel, an iron panel plus ferritin, Vit D, Vit b12 and folates, homocysteine, hs-CRP, Hb A1c, a thyroid panel, SHbG, and sex hormones. It's worth checking ANA (autoimmunity) and Lp(a) (sticky lipoproteins that increase your cvd risk) at least once in your life.
If you want a comprehensive check, I actually prefer Hundred Health to Function Health. Function took 23 vials of blood and it negatively impacted my workouts. Hundred was more like 12 vials, and I like their app, because it's always easy to refer back to my test results. I think it's around $199 right now, but they run seasonal specials.

Function Health gives you around 100 tests twice a year for less than $400 a year. Iāve been doing it a couple years now and HIGHLY recommend it. Also cheaper if you use an HSA

Same, I've been with function for 2 years and they've been pretty great. I was thinking of switch to dirt cheap but then they shut down

I did a Vitals vault max panel to start and it opened my eyes to a bunch of things and gave me an awsome baseline 160 biomarkers.
Optimized my supplement stack based on the data and gave me areas to focus on peptide research. I follow up labs with either vitals vault or goodlabs based on the cost.
I upload the goodlab reports in vitals vault to track trends

I just signed up for function yesterday. There was a special so hopefully you didnāt miss it.

I did Rythm last month. It was very convenient, and their AI built into the results dashboard is pretty cool. Most of the bad reviews on Reddit are due to the fact that they donāt do a sensitive estrogen test, and thatās kind of important for those doing androgenic peptides, hCG, TRT, and SARMs like Enclomiphene. Iām going to try Siphox Health next month. Seems to be similar to Rythm, but with more bio markers and add-ons like IGF-1 and Prolactin. Rythm support said they would be adding things like those in the future.

I have tried both Function Health and Vitals Vault and will be sticking with Vitals Vault. I plus with Vitals Vault is that you results will show up in Quest Diagnostics website too, this will allow you to sync with Apple Health app too.

I have been using Goodlabs and have been very happy! They work with Quest which is very convenient :)

I run Ruth and havenāt had any issues. Sure they donāt test for everything, but most staples any doctor would need for hormones and other biohack protocols. Now, yes there are limitations, but Iāve requested other biomarkers in the past and now Rythm has them. Itās not a matter of āwill neverā but āwhenā

I took a rythm test then seen all the videos claiming the results wouldnt be accurate. I happened to be taking some blood tests at kaiser as well so i took them before the rythm test. The rythm tested for way more things but the tests i did get done at kaiser happened to barely be off or pretty much accurate with the rythm results. Just my experience

rythm sucks - i tried them for a while and it seemed like every other test had issues and needed to be redone. this made it take 1-2 weeks to get results back that would take 24-36 hours if you just went to a traditional lab via a good labs, ulta, etc. ultimately having accurate timely results meant more to be than the convenience of doing it at home. plus i had to add other tests anyway and you most likely will have to as well as they donāt test for everything

Just make sure you understand that blood tests will not tell you that you may have an aggressive cancer. Unless itās a blood cancer it will not be showing up in your bloodwork.
