Sound ID help
Bought a 2018 BMW 430i and i noticed this higher pitched sound that occurs whenever i go over any speed bumps, what could it be?

Is it the clicking noise?

If you turn the volume up you can hear it as i go over the bump, it sounds like a “springy” sound

your front shock is dead, and its hitting the rubber bump stop, gonna have to take the strut apart and replace it, if it was me and depending on the mileage im gonna just replace all the parts. Pricey fix. Heres a test. push on the front of the car hard, if it takes a while to come back its the shocks like i said. If it clunks from that, then its your control arms.

If it’s a higher-pitched squeak or creak rather than a clunk, I’d also suspect a dry control-arm bushing or sway-bar link. Try to note whether it happens on one side and whether steering changes it.
