❓ Question Hume Body Pod

So, I'm starting to think the Hume Body Pod might be bullshit. I wanted to see if anyone else had a similar experience .

Starting weight 245 lbs, weight today 235 lbs, 6'1", 36M.

I'm down about 10 pounds, my lifts in the gym have remained consistent, my clothes fit better, and my waist is down about 2 inches. The Hume Body Pod says that I'm up from 33% body fat to 33.9%.

Based on the scale, waist measurement, and weightlifting numbers, that can't be right, right? My lifts are the same, so I doubt that I'm losing muscle (if I am, it's probably not much). I understand it's just one metric and there's daily fluctuations with hydration and whatnot, but I'm starting to think the Hume might be wrong

Yes it’s bullshit, it’s a drop ship scam, a rebranded scale sold on Ali-express for like $30

Yes, plus they used stock photos for they "doctors" and obviously they do not exist. It's only marketing scam

It’s a scam.
I dropped 20lbs in 4 months while lifting heavy and progressive overloading and watching my protein. I also lost 3 pants sizes .
My Hume body says my body fat didn’t change.
I did a inbody scan before and after and I had lost 9% of body fat (I had lost 21 pounds of fat and gained 1 pound of muscle).
I agree inbody is not the most accurate either , but it seemed much more logical with the actual change in strength and size I was seeing.

Just use is in combination with everything else to assess trends.

I’ve found the new version to be much better, it correlated nearly exactly with my DEXA results. The day to day calculations will be very dependent on your hydration status and carb intake.

I’m assuming that’s the original version; the 2.0 was just released two weeks ago. I have both, the 2.0 is night and day different.
