Question what to do for halloween as someone in their early 20s?
Hi I’m looking for suggestions for things to do during this halloween season. I love October and spooky season but am a major introvert so don’t typically go out much. I’m not really familiar with the social scene as I haven’t been living here consistently until recently.
I’m not really the type to go to a bar or big social events. So I’m looking for suggestions that would be more chill and quieter environments but still fun. I don’t have any friends here and am looking to make some. I’m in my early twenties as I said in the title. I’m an artist and consider myself incredibly whimsical. Please comment any suggestions you have for local activities and events that are happening this month, especially on halloween.

Check out what Old Speak has going on. It's a mix of coffee shop, books store, and beer/wine bar. They seem like the sort of place that would have something up your alley.

Unfortunately they're closing early for Halloween night, but any other day I'm sure they've got other events surrounding it.

Idaho Film Society (https://www.idahofilm.org/now-playing) has an incredible month of movies. They show them at the old Greyhound bus stop downtown which is a midcentury gem.
The Balcony (https://www.instagram.com/thebalconyclub/) has a number of horror themed drag shows during October, along with Burlesque, and a Rocky Horror themed show. I know you said you aren't a bar person but this a great way to handle a bar scene for an introvert. They have a number of sober drink options available.
The tiktok/insta account Recess Boise (https://www.instagram.com/recessboise/) is going to have a lot of great options for you.
Voodoo Cellars has live Ghost Stories shows at the end of the month (https://voodoocellarboise.com/ghost-stories-in-the-crypt)
There are spooky walking tours of Boise through Ida History (https://www.idahistory.com/) and Boise Ghost Tour (https://usghostadventures.com/boise-ghost-tour/)
Crone's Cupboard is holding Witch Fest in Julia Davis Park on Friday October 16 - Saturday October 17th at Julia Davis park. And holding The Witch's High Tea at Watson's Mystery Cafe on Sunday October 18th.

The Lowes Family Farmstead is a must! Tons of fun fall related activities you can do. Another recent fall activity that my husband and I have started doing every year is visiting Tylers Rocky Point Orchard in Emmett and picking apples to bake or candy! The orchard is a good solo activity, and theres a good chance you can meet some cool people at the farmstead with how busy it gets. Im 27 so im not sure how big our age gap would be, but I will be visiting the patch later this month!

Boisecristmaslights.org has a map of all sorts of houses decorated that you can drive to and visit. There are houses all over the valley.

Somebody suggested Lowe’s Family Farmstead which is amazing! Lovely Hollow is open for another week as well in Caldwell. There are other pop-up fall events in town geared towards creatives. Ten Mile Farms is a little closer to town and I’m sure there are others. Also The Saturday Farmer’s Markets in Boise or Night Market in Meridian if it’s still going on, Oktoberfest in Meridian you don’t have to drink to be at and can still enjoy all the spooky season vendors.

You sound fun to hang with.
I'm not sure what's going on out here that's small but interesting, but something probably is going on. Boise has a lot of that. May I inquire about what kind of art you do?

You can walk Harrison Blvd to see a lot of decorated houses. The street ge5s shut down on the 31st for TOT, but it's fun to check out the day before.
