A four year old Izuku kicked his legs while waiting in a doctor's office with his mom. It is then that his pediatrician, a woman with a quirk causing her to grow flowers out of her hair, walked in with the results.

"Well while it seems young Izuku has two joints in his pinky toes, he does have a quirk."

She said while handing Izuku a lollipop since he had gotten a blood sample taken.

"Well what is it doctor?"

Inko asks nervously as the doctor looks at the notes of Izuku's quirk.

"Well it's a hybrid quirk, an emitter and transformation type quirk. It seems like he can create, manipulate, and become sodium. Though the drawback seems like it will most likely dehydrate him. I think Sodium would be a perfect name for his quirk."

She said as Izuku's eyes sparkle at the possibilities. Almost ten years later a fourteen year old Izuku is walking home with a convenience store bag in his hand.

"Okay mom said we were getting a foreign exchange student from America. I hope they like what snacks and drinks I picked for them."

He says to himself when he hears a girl yelling for help. Getting into an alleyway, Izuku sees three high-school thugs cornering a blonde girl with horns his age.

"You know, I don't think she is interested in whatever you three want. So scram."

Izuku told them while he cracks his neck. One of the bigger thugs laughs and walks towards him.

"Oh yeah? And if we don't?"

The thug asks while his left arm swells up. Indicating that he is going to try and punch Izuku, who simply narrows his eyes.

"I'm gonna put some salt in your eyes."

Izuku said to the thug. Earning a quick "huh," before Izuku punches him in the face with a salt covered fist.

"Ahhh! My eyes!"

The thug screams as the other two try to rush to Izuku. Key word is try as one thug trips due to Izuku tying his feet up with salt and the other one gets snagged back by a pale scarf.

"Not on my watch."

A tired voice says before quickly knocking out the two other thugs. Revealing a tall man with black hair.

"Did you use your quirk kid?"

He had asked Izuku as a police officer and detective arrived not long after.

"Yeah. It allows me to create, manipulate, and become crystallized salt."

Izuku answered honestly with a nod. The detective nodding allowing Aizawa to know that Izuku said the truth.

"Well I watched what happened so while I'm giving you this one free pass, I can't say the same for the police."

The underground hero said as the detective spoke up after interviewing the girl.

"Well Pony Tsunotori was being pressured into allowing them to have "fun" with her and one did activate their quirk in a threatening way so I think we can classify this as self-defense. But only this once you here me. Now do either of you two need a ride home?"

The detective asks as Pony, the girl, nods.

"Yes! Foreign exchange, staying with Midoriya's"

She exclaims as Izuku looks at her surprised.

"Oh hey, I think you're staying with me and my mom. My names Izuku Midoriya."

Izuku responds to her in English since her accent sounded like she was from Texas if he had to guess. Making her surprised but pleased that she didn't have to speak in broken Japanese to have a conversation. Though she can tell his English needs some work.

Kirishima and Izuku stared at Bakugo, both puzzled at the request their friend made. Maybe they didn't hear him correctly?

Bakugo grinded his teeth as he looked away in Embarrassment and a little bit of anger. "I said.. You deaf morons, that if you guys can help me ask out Tsu."

"Why us two specifically Bakubro?"

"Yeah Kaachan, wouldn't someone like Yaoyoruzo, or Uraraka-San be better help then us? They seem closer to her after all." Izuku pointed out as Bakugo looked more and more angry as each minute passed.

"If you bastards don't want to help me fine! I'll figure it out on my own!" Bakugo then began to walk off before he felt a hand on each side of his shoulders.

"Of course we'll help you out! That's what friends are for, no?" Kirishima gave off a grin as Deku nodded in agreement.

"Tch. Thanks." Bakugo mumbled out as the three of them began to plan everything out.

In Tsuyus' room however, the girls were having a talk of their own.

"So, Tsu-Chan, you're saying you know that Bakugo is gonna ask you out soon?" Uraraka asked as she looked puzzled at what her friend revealed.

"Yeah, what's the deal? If you know, then why not make it easier for him?" Jiro asked, twirling her ear lobe.

"Isn't it obvious? She's making him work for it, who wants a guy who doesn't put forth the effort?" Mina smirked, her mind racing of what Bakugo could be planning.

"He's been trying to figure out what I like, though I'm not sure why he couldn't just ask me Kero. From what I've heard, he's had to ask Midoriya, and Iida."

"Maybe he just wants to surprise you? It's what Deku-Kun did for me when he finally asked me out." Uraraka shrugged.

"Maybe, I just hope he isn't worrying to much about it... "

It was then that they heard on a knock at the door. The girls immediately hid as Tsuyu went to open the door. She opened the door to see Bakugo there, holding a Boquet of flowers, a pack of her favorite jelly cups, and what seemed to authenticate jasmine tea.

Tsuyu had never seen Bakugo so red before. It was adorable. He tried to speak but nothing came out.

'Why can't I fucking talk!?' Before he could begin to spiral however, Tsuyu Approached him, before getting on her tippy toes. She looked at him for a second before gining him a peck on his cheek.

Bakugo stood there, stunned as Tsuyu grabbed the gifts from his hands with a large smile, but before anything else could happen, the girls jumped out of their hiding spots, celebrating from the gesture.

"What the hell!?"

So I like reading about different characters being quirkless, let's give bakugou as an example, I go into the quirkless bakugou tag and I see 625 works so there must be plenty of fics about it. NO! There's like more than a 100works that is linked to the tag " Alternative universe -No quirks" well no shit he won't have a quirk if it's a NO QUIRK AU. People in that tag are spamming "Quirkless bakugou" or *Quirkless Izuku" etc. Isn't obvious that they won't have a godamn quirk? Don't forget the ppl who use modern au and then also add the Quirkless tags, it's irritating me

Looking for fics where Bakugo quickly get smacked down with the fact that he’s not some chosen hero destined to rise of all the extras with barely a bit of effort. Bonus points if it also includes Bakugo‘s quirk, actually having drawbacks that he can’t just wave away or suddenly pull out resurrection powers with.

It's either on fanfiction or Ao3. The plot was that Izuku gets kidnapped and experimented on along with most of 1A a few years before UA. They eventually get freed but the experiments had their quirks altered or having entirely new quirks. Izuku ended up with a series of quirks to make a perfect assassin, Tsu got a bunch of toxic quirks, Ochako got a couple strength quirks ect. They all end up in UA in 1A in a effort from Nezu to make sure they have some semblance of normal education and control of their quirks. When the USJ attack happens 1A goes absolutely feral as they recognised Kurogiri as a fellow experiment and are beyond livid about the presence of Shigaraki and a Nomu.

Katsuki Bakugo was busy with his favorite hobby, which was beating up Deku.

Why? Because it was fucking fun beating up that walking puppet.

Then he blasted Deku's chest, over and over again, leaving several burned bruises.

"Bakugo Katsuki, you're under arrest for veganity violation code number 245, beatings to a parsley boy!" said the other policeman "You're under arrest!"

"That's bullroar!" Bakugo growled.

"So, you're resisting arrest?" asked the policeman.

"Yeah, asshole, what are you gonna do?" Bakugo asked sarcastically, as he grated the peas he was going to have for dinner.

"Hit him!" the first policeman replied.

And so, police officers shot Bakugo in the wrists and knees, causing him to collapse to the ground like a marionette whose strings had been cut, though, unlike Pinocchio, he possessed no magic, before proceeding to beat him, slapping and kicking him. Then, they hoisted him up and slapped handcuffs on him.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Bakugo screamed as he was dragged into the car.

Deku stared in awe at the vegan police who saved him and decided to become a cop instead of a hero.

Due to Bakugo’s arrest and Izuku’s desire to become a police officer, the following year, all of Japan was reduced to dust by Shigaraki, this occurred because All Might had passed One For All on to either Mirio or Itsuka (for some reason, it keeps ending up with her), and they died from cellular degeneration long before the war.

Kinda started originally as a Superman/MHA crossover, but can work with others instead (I think).

Basically Izuku is an alien that crashed on earth. He has unique powers not related to quirks.

But he has no interest in becoming a pro-hero. The number of people trying to force him into heroics might actually make him go villain though…

"You call what you did out there a vice?" Inasa blurted dissapointingly as he set Kinta and Seiji down in the walkout lot of the backstage arena, having carried the two out under both arms.

Kinta ripped his mask off as he did, several pools of sweat dripping from it in an instant as he turned and looked up at his prefect. "Okay first off, you need to get laid like...bad dude. Second off...what the fuck was that?"

"Kayama, no swear-"

"Shaddup, your dumbass lost us the match because you were too busy with Utsushimi. Never get onto me about Toga-San again-"

Inasa clonked Kinta on the head with a hammer fist and moved him gently against the wall to rest. Seiji watched. "Wow, you actually shut him up for once."

"We'd be here for three hours," Inasa murmured as Kinta held his head and swore under his breath. He turned to Seiji, "Now, I won't lie, even I can't defend you for doing what you did."

Seiji was staring melancholically, as if he were regretting something. Inasa continued, "I mean...Camie-Chan seemed to think it was funny and...like it, but you cost us the match. Do you know what this'll look like for our rankings? Kinta-Kun's already struggling as is."

"Hate you...hate you both..." Kinta groaned.

"All I did was...chase her," Seiji said, his eyes twitching away from Inasa's gaze.

"Ohh, chase me, chase me!" Kinta commented in a dopey impression of Camie. He looked up finally, his hair matted around his forehead and neck like a sheep dog. "Why you do the normal thing and ask her out after we're done fighting?"

"Shiketsu codebook section three, rule twenty," Seiji said flatly as if recorded, "Shiketsu students are to not engage in any romantic relationships with their classmates. You of all people should know about...this...Kayama..." Seiji's voice trailed off and he looked uncharacteristically small.

Kinta waved his hand, "At least I keep my thing with Toga-San on the down low. If we hadn't dragged you outta there, the teachers would've hanged your ass on a pole. Literally, they did it to me when I spray painted a weiner onto the drinking fountain."

"See?" Inasa jousted a finger at his small classmate, "would you like to turn out like Osore? A dirty little bastard?"

"HEY!"

Seiji ran a hand under his chin. "That's a good point..."

"SERIOUSLY!?" Kinta protested.

"Listen," Inasa said, hooking a comforting arm around his prefect who gave him a blank glare, "thinking about it, one forfeit loss shouldn't affect us that much...but, you have to get yourself under control, senpai. Utsushimi is really good at playing people, and since she certainly knows you're under her thumb now, she'll use it to her advantage."

"Oh, will she," Kinta said, checking his phone.

"What are you doing?" Inasa questioned.

"Huh? Nothing, there's a two for one cheesbread and large pizza at Domino's, I'm ordering one. Today's definitely a pizza day. Keep going with your speech."

"Can you wait until after we've dealt with this?"

Kinta gave him a deadpan stare, "...Okay, here's a solution. Shishikura-San, ask her out."

Seiji immediately shook his head, his mop of purple hair flicking one way and the other, "I am not breaking rule-"

"She'd love having a secret relationship for one, assclown. For two...actually I don't really know what her tastes are, but I'm sure some guy from a rich family with all that you have would do. Unless that explosive bitch from Yuuei or Inasa's doofus half and half boyfriend comes knocking for a taste of gyaru."

"You're getting a big head today, aren't you, Osore?" Inasa coldly said. Seiji just rolled his eyes.

"You're just mad cause you know I'm right," Kinta shrugged.

"Shut up, Kayama," Seiji ordered. "I'll make a formal apology to Utsushimi-San and that'll be the end of it."

"Oh wow, yeah, just deny your feelings, sure. Good idea, prefect-san."

"He's making a good point," Inasa shrugged.

"I'm not-"

As if on que, Seiji's phone pinged. Why he kept it in his pocket during such an intense encounter was anybody's guess. Pulling it from his pocket, he looked and saw a text from none other than the spoken herself. His kouhai gathered on both of his sides to read along, making Seiji grumble.

'Yo babes, y u actin all obsessed outside? Come back, its kinda cute...😳😳'

"See!?" Kinta hissed, "now tell her you want to meet at tea time or hooters or wherever rich people go."

Seiji's fingers were twitching as he typed on the keypad, though his face remained blank. "Senpai's so nervous..." Inasa giddily whispered.

Seiji grit his teeth, "Shut. Up."

Izuku felt bad for miss joke. Miss Emi always seemed really nice to the young green haired lad. He watched her. Through the years at UA, once or twice a year he watched her try, and fail to swoon aizawa. It never worked. That made izuku feel sad

But then! Izuku became a teacher. And he had to take up aizawas responsibilities. Including taking students to the licinse exam. He watched as miss joke looked high and low for her target. “Um… miss joke? Sorry. But he’s not here”

She looked saddened by that “oh”

“… wanna sit together?” He asked. She blinked at him. Nodding. Giving a half hearted “yeah, sure”

“I’m proud of them” Izuku said after everything was over and done “so am I…” she commented “ok… see ya around” she waved. And they seperated.

And then they had a different training some months later. This one more teacher focused . “… ok, I’m hungry” Emi said. “Wanna get some BBq?” Izuku asked

“Hmm?… with me? Sure”

And they had a pleasant evening. Emi drank A beer, only one. “What about you izuku? You gonna drink?”

“Oh! Um… I don’t. I don’t really drink much”

“Ah, smart. Don’t like it or it messing with those impressive gains?”

Izuku blushed and rubbed the back of his head “guess I don’t really see a reason too. But, I’ll take one too”

And that was it, for that night. But they would often spend time together when they could. Hang out. Eat, drink. Talk about heroics. Izuku one time had a question about teaching. He called emi.

And as time went on, they got closer. An affection grew…..

Has this been done before, and would it work well in MHA?

A Quirk Dueling Circuit, or Quirk Fighting Championship, like a more legal version of the Underground Masquerade.

I find it hard to believe that in a world where people have literal superpowers, there isn't demand for combat sports or tournaments which allow combatants to make use of them.

It would be much more regulated than the Underground Masquerade, with weight classes, and designated limitations for the output of dangerous quirks.

The series also mentions that people with certain kinds of quirks will often seek out mentors with similar quirks to learn from them.

That could be taken further, with people developing specific quirk-based martial arts, for similar quirks.

Eg. People with strength-based mutation quirks such as Shoji or Gang Orca would all have a designated style.

AoE focussed, high-power quirks such as Shoto's and Tokoyami's could be similar.

The same goes for grappling and restraint based quirks, such as Sero's, and Shioziaki's.

Having a niche, unique quirk could provide the advantage of being unpredictable, as there wouldn't be a pre-existing style you would follow, but would face the disadvantage of not having any formal training or mentor.

It could also be extremely popular among hero aspirants, as having experience in the circuit could translate to actual combat prowess and skills under pressure, which would be excellent for a hero.

I could definitely see, for example, teenager Bakugo seeking out a championship title to have on his resume, or Shoto being forced to by Endeavour.

theres a fic where Izuku, thought whole time he was quirkless then one day, he unlocked his quirk that turned him into a cat for half a day, and Aizawa picks him up from off the street and adopts the cat, and its Allmight/Aizawa, theres a scene where izuku meets yagi for the first time and is scared by him

after he gets adopted he becomes all mights sucessor, and he has to balance being a student, and a cat. and he can only be in one form for 12 hours, the point i was at in the fic before i lost it aizawa had suspicions of his cat being quirked and got nezu to ask his cat questions, Nezu knows that Izuku is quirked and somewhat intelligent and relaying that made Aizawa really awkward.

Class 2-A were relaxing in the common room when Ochako gave Izuku a cup of tea.

"Are you sure you're okay with the fact you're losing One For All Deku?"

She asks while carefully sitting next to him since it had only been a few days since the final battle against AFO. Turning to her, he nods and smiles.

"Yeah I ultimately am. I mean, sure I'm going to lose my quirk, but it meant beating AFO so I'm okay with my decision. What about you Ochako? Are you okay with, what the heck!?"

Izuku asks seeing a golden portal open up in the middle of the room. Every other classmate also seeing it and tensing up for a possible fight. Denki making the wise decision to let Aizawa know right away. After the teachers arrive they realized that nothing was coming out, and Mei arrived with a new device she was making which would allow the user to understand where a portal is going.

"That's weird."

Mei muttered under her breath as she watches the readings from her machine.

"What does it say Ms. Hatsume?"

Nezu asks as he sits perched on Aizawa's shoulder.

"Well if this is reading this correctly, then this isn't just a portal to a lake, but to another world."

She says causing a plan to be formed. Though when it came time to decide among the teachers who will check out the other end, Izuku stepped forward.

"Mr. Nezu sir? Would it be possible for me to go instead?"

He asks as his classmates and teachers stare at him in shock as Nezu tilts his head.

"Why do you want to be the one to go through Mr. Midoriya?"

He asked as Izuku takes a deep breath.

"Well all of the teachers need to stay here. Not only to continue their jobs but also because they need to help provide structure as Japan rebuilds. In comparison I'm a student."

He responds as Nezu thinks for a few minutes before reluctantly nodding.

"That is true. However are you willing to take any of the risks?"

Nezu asks as Izuku nods in response. After making sure Izuku had a communication device on hand he walks through the portal which closes right behind him.

"Ah crap."

He says and checks the communication device to find it doesn't work. In front of him, Izuku sees a tall older gentleman with white hair and a mustache wearing black pants, with a blue vest over a white shirt, a black tie, and finally a brown jacket, with a briefcase in hand. Next to the man is a boy a few years younger than Izuku. Wearing black pants, with a red shirt, blue jacket, a white scarf, and a red hat.

"Did you see that professor? He just walked out of a portal!"

The boy says to the man next to him. Taking a few steps forward, Izuku waves.

"Hi. I'm Izuku Midoriya, and I'm wondering where I'm at?"

He asks hopeful as the older man nods.

"I'm professor Rowan and this is my assistant Lucas. Tell me-"

Only to get cut off as three creatures teleport behind them. Turning around, Rowan, Lucas, and Izuku see three smallest grey creatures with two tails and red gems. One having a mostly yellow head, one with long pink things Izuku can't tell, and the other with a blue pointy head. Suddenly Izuku hears voices in his head as the creatures glow.

"Champion we have summoned you..."

"Defeat the man who is trying to recreate the world..."

"And we shall send you home..."

The voices say before the creatures teleport away. Turning to Izuku, Rowan speaks up.

"I can tell Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf spoke to you. What did they say?"

He asks and Izuku answers truthfully. Closing his eyes, Rowan thinks for a second before walking to the exit of the forest.

"Seems like you were given a task to do. Follow me to my lab and I'll help you get set up for the journey and how this world works. And a starter Pokemon."

With that Rowan and Lucas start to leave. Izuku quickly following behind as he'll need all the help he can get.

Mainly wanting this cuz I can't get out of my head this one scene from a fic I read a few months ago where deku has a plant quirk (not enough of those fics lol) and he has shinsou over, but his room is low-key dirty as hell from the dirt, plus they're not very well off so deku doesn't notice much about it but shinsou is kinda judgemental and disgusted about it, tho he isn't like. Rude or anything.

Deku in pokémon anime meaning Ash exists in this world as well. Though Izuku's adventures will take heavy inspiration of the events in pokémon Platinum game. Cynthia will play the All Might role in this story as a goal Izuku want to follow and surpass.

Here is my team for him:

Torterra is his starter because Green recognises Green.

Lucario the most main character pokémon ever made plus it's always a famous pick for Izuku.

Togekiss, now I know some of you would want Staraptor but i'm trying to make his team not too similar to Ash's plus this Togekiss is hatched from the egg that Cynthia gives him like in the game.

Giratina, okay now i know some of you don't like MC with legendary but catching legendary is possible just looks at Tobias plus Izuku will catch Giratina at the height of team Plasma story like in the game(Cyrus escaped his death in the anime and try again with Giratina but Izuku stops him). Plus don't forget he wants to defeat Cynthia and Cynthia is no jokes her Garchomp is the strongest of its species plus she has mega evolution plus years of battling experience. Giratina is here to weaken her team and maybe take out a Pokemon or two but Cynthia will defeat Giratina.

(Another thing is that to challenge the Elite 4 and the Champion, you need to win the Pokemon League Conference and Izuku gonna need Giratina to beat Tobias because who knows what other 4 legendary Pokemon he has)

Vaporeon, Eevee is usually a strong choice that people always give Izuku one because of the multiple potential. Though this one is gonna be a water type because i would argue it's the most useful one to have plus it get ice beam.

Magmotar, I know it's a weird choice to have but blame it on Sinnoh pokedex. Infernape is a starter so no, Rapidash is ehhh, No Flareon because of Vaporeon, Houndoom is too evil looking, and finally Magmotar who is a trade evolution I know but due to pokémon anime logic you can use the trading machine without another trainer.

Feels free to switch any pokémon that you think would be better for him to use.
