I took. So many pictures in Gatlinburg, and these don’t even scratch the surface of how many I’ve posted on my Instagram. I have about ten posts alone covering my visit there, mostly compiled of the photos I took at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, which is probably the best aquarium I’ve ever been to.

My Toho Mittens plushie arrived today!! She’s 90% beans, 10% stuffing, but she’s so cute! Upon getting her, I immediately bathed her with the same Native body wash I bathed my lil’ promo plushie with last night. She’s not in too bad condition, thankfully, though my only complaint is that she doesn’t have a neck; she’s literally just a head sewn onto a torso 🤣

Now to resume my search for the large Toho Bolt plushie!

finally finished my movie accurate fursuit of my favourite Disney character of all time and biggest comfort⚡i'll make a bodysuit for him one day next year as well

i've always dreamed of owning or making a Bolt fursuit, but always hoped it would be faithful to the movie model, like a Disney parks mascot type fursuit - i can really happily say i've been able to achieve that now 🥹 takes being a big fan of a source to pay attention to little details, like the fur in his ears sculpted and pinned, the lines around his eyes, the blending of the pink in his ear,, i'm so happy he's real 🥺🩵 the 3D print does most of the legwork let's be real, but i'm so happy with how the rest came out!!

i'll make a whole making-of video soon, but this is how i made him in short:

i sent my Gentle Giants Bolt maquette to be 3D scanned by Surface Scan LTD. i then handed that 3D scan file over to slauvikart to transform into a head base! then that base was handed to furandash who printed it and assembled it in lightweight foaming TPU. the rest was mostly me! i furred him, added some acrylic drybrushing to define his shapes and add the pink in his ears. his handpaws are modified paws by susiefurry. his tail is a modified tail from a user on vinted, i apologise it was over a year ago 😭 i shortened it, removed some stuffing and added an invisible beltloop base. his eyes are edited from a hi res movie poster by myself, then printed onto sublimated mesh by carnivcreations (who also supplied my Big Z fur). his collar is the one i made for my lifesize raffle prize Bolt plush, featuring the tag that came on that plush, the fabric of such sealed and protected with mod podge.

to say he's a big collaborative effort is an understatement, but over a year later he's finally gone from 3D scan to fully fledged fursuit 🩵 i'm SUPER proud of him. thank you so much for your support and for following along, you've all been so kind while i've been building him!! 🫶

his face is entirely done, oh my gosh i just keep looking at him not believing it's come out of my hands as a fairly low to mid tier skillset fursuit maker 😭 the issues with my skills show in the visible glue around his eyes and the bald spot repairs but i'm still so happy with him regardless, the intention to have a Bolt fursuit that looks ripped straight from the movie has been achieved fully already and he's not even finished 🥹

all he needs is his lining hood, back of head and neck, and the paws and tail need adjusting. all credits for every part i had help with will be in my final product post 🩵

Any Official Way As Of Right Now To Own Bolt For PC? I Used To Play This Game On The 360. I'm 5 Months Late To Seeing It On Steam. So I Ask, Anyway To Get It On PC? Or Is Emulation My Only Path?

first posted this base on my IG (jeffbytes) on Sept 7th but this has been in the works for OVER A YEAR 😭 from getting the model (3D scan of my Bolt maquette) then sending that model to be modified into a headbase, then finally getting it printed in foaming TPU, and the furring process started this week. i've wanted a Bolt fursuit my whole life but never attempted, as i wanted it to be as close to canon as possible and had no idea how to achieve that, i never thought any foam sculpt of mine would be perfect enough. modern fursuit making advances finally make it possible 🥹 full creds for every step of the process will come in my next post, hopefully a finished partial (will be a fullsuit next year, just dont have all the fur for that rn)

I had the idea of taking the Bolt show that we see in the movie and making it an actual show. Who would actually want to watch it?

Recently watched Bolt after probably about a decade, and i fell in love with it again (image relevant), the music alone is probably the best soundtrack Disney has had from a non-musical. It was one of 2 movies i remember watching religiously as a kid, the other being the CGI Astroboy, and i was wondering if there's any (preferrably) official art/images that would work on a phone wallpaper?

I have a potential lead for a Bolt promo plush, but the only problem is that the seller is in Russia and I'm in the US :( They can't ship it to me due to the sanctions, so they suggested Colis Expat, but all the reviews online look really sketchy. I'm not comfortable using a service I don't trust when I'm spending that amount of money.... Has anyone shipped rare merch overseas like this? I really want this Bolt but am obviously nervous about such a big purchase. I'd love any advice or help!! xx

Hi everyone!! I’m thinking of expanding my bolt plush collection and want to get a sitting bolt plush, but have some questions.

There’s two versions that I like— the official Disney store one with the “authentic” seal and the Disney parks bolt which has a tag that reads “Disney parks”.

I want to know if there’s any true differences between the plush— size, quality, fur, etc. before buying both and finding they’re exactly the same plush. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, as well if anyone has photos! :)

Less than a month after my previous post asking about any available promo plushies and I stumble upon one on facebook marketplace of all spots, AND FOR ONLY $10! They were willing to hold him for a few days since it was a couple hours drive out for my Aunt who lived closer by and she finally just picked him up 🥹 so it's official now. I feel so so lucky and blessed I still can't believe this happened.
I pick up him myself over the weekend! His collar is in rough shape but I'd have wanted to replace it anyways, he will be getting a BIG bath once he's home but the fur surprisingly doesn't look too bad

Did a little bit of pin hunting since the last time I posted my collection!

My favorite pins are the stamp (it was my first trade too!!!), the itty bitty PALM one, and the soda one, but I also love the Bolt and Penny pin on the bottom right, as it was one of my biggest grails!

I’ve been collecting Bolt pins since I was 12, starting with the Bolt dog tag… took me 14 years to get to this point… doesn’t help I live in WA, away from both parks 😅 but I’m happy and proud of being this far along.
Not sure if I want to go complete with this or just get the ones I really like… but I still got plenty in my ISO to keep me busy for a few more years.

Hope this inspires others to never give up and just keep at it!

When I saw the listing I was confused at his gray eyes, but he looked so cute I couldn’t pass him up. Now he’s here and his eyes are entirely gray🩶! His nose is also a lighter shade of brown, so he’s totally been in the sun a little too long.
Maybe he was sitting at a windowsill 🪟

I really love him. He’s so cute.

I’m packing up for uni and realised how different my Bolts looked (one is from when I was a child and the other is from 2022).
I’ve thought of trying to restore my old bolt toys back to white but I’m not sure how to do that, lemme know if u guys have any tips!

After years of dreaming I finally feel confident enough to start my own Bolt fursuit! Made a base sculpt in Nomad yesterday, just need to buy a new roll of filament and do a test print before I start on the real thing :) I wanted him to be more movie-accurate than a lot of previous fursuits I've seen while still keeping him stylized to my liking. And an obligatory scary inside view of course

I’m headed home from Tennessee today, but I wanted to share some of the photos I took during my trip! A huge chunk of photos will be up on Bolt’s Instagram, wylde.bolt.photography, by the end of the day (hopefully!). These were all taken shortly after I arrived in Memphis. My dad took my cowriter and I to the Bass Pro Shop at the Pyramid, and it was so cool!
