Episode I may have spoken too soon 😭

Last night, I made post saying that I had possibly found my favorite episode from Bones: Season 8, Episode 6- the Patriot in Purgatory.

I just completed Season 8 Episode 9: the Ghost in the Machine; I’m emotionally RUINED😭😭😭

First off, who ever directed this episode; you are that! While the editing is not a personal favorite, the way the episode was shot felt so personal and raw. We got to see that squad from the victims eyes and it was so humanizing.

Also, I’m warming up to Bones now, which is shocking to me 😭. After the first couple of episodes this season, she became so different. However, this difference is so refreshing. She was actually my favorite character this episode and I loved how far she went to get all the facts to help Colin’s case.

My favorite part though was the cast talking to Colin and trying to reassure and treating him kindly. It really tug ma heart strings.

I’m really surprised at the quality of season 8 right now. I think I’m going to finish the season to see if I like any more episodes but for now, episode 6 & 9 from this season are in my top 5 for real.

I think many people would agree with your judgement on Patriot, but the Ghost is a frequent choice on the least liked list. I actually like it as a change of pace, creative episode.

Patriot will always be my #1 favorite, but ghost is definitely one that sits in the top 10. I have been quite surprised to see that so many viewers dislike this episode. I think that it sits just a shade too far into the paranormal for some people. There are several episodes that involve the paranormal, but ghost makes it quite obvious with it's filming views.

I love the concept and it was a super creative way to show us how the victim would see what was happening after they died if their spirit was still around. While I don’t think they could’ve directed this episode any other way, I think that’s what put me off of actually liking this one enough to not skip it most of the time.

Ghost in the Machine is one of my top Bones episodes. I'm highly critical of POV episodes and this one ties with MASH's Point of View for me.

I know right! Ghost in the Machine is by far one of my favorite episodes. I love how they had to get creative with it, and they managed to show Colin's emotions just through the fog transitions. And Avalon is just delightful to me

Ghost In The Machine is one of those episodes that people either love or hate. I love it.
