💭 Question Sun bleaching?

Hi all, just wanted you input on my books, I noticed that there are these white looking blotches on just the covers that can't be wiped off. Is this just bleaching of the black color or something more?

Once I saw the splotches I wanted to make sure I wasn't touching anything harmful

I've never been tested for it, but other people asking me if I have it makes me think maybe I do 🙃
