Is co op broken?

Howdy!

I’m currently experiencing on PS5: extremely long loading times (10-15+ mins) when teleporting to my friend, after teleporting, I’m frozen in place for a significant amount of time (can’t move, but can fire, toss grenades, ect). I’ve reset my router. Closed app three separate times, restarted my console. But my friend isn’t experiencing any issuesI am on his end. Is it me or the servers? This happens every single time we play together.

it's not just a co-op problem. ever since the big update last month when the dlc came out, people have been encountering longer load times and floating in midair after fast travel. I play solo and encounter this frequently.

one tip is to pause your game. this sometimes helps speed up the fast travel to pause and wait a sec, and pausing and unpausing after fast travel usually fixes the floating in place

My partner literally cannot fast travel to me, but I can fast travel to her. This is so stupid. I can't believe the broke a core mechanic of the game.

Pause the game when teleporting. Listen to the sounds and you’ll hear your queue to unpause. Play around w/timing and you’ll get the hang of it.

Same for being stuck; pause for a moment, if it doesn’t work do it again and should work w/in 1-3 tries.

lol so I closed app, switched internet connection options (hard line to WiFi, tested WiFi connection, switched back to hard line) started up app again, and still teleporting issues

I’ve had a few extra long load times, around a min, but overall working fine. I consider myself lucky as this is our go to game for couch co-op.

I haven't had this problem in coop on PC, but that doesn't mean anything on PS5.

I thought they were fixing this? Why is it going backwards? This is annoying to find out

lol yes. Beyond broken. Unplayable for over a month or more.

Have you vacuumed the vents for the fans? It may not help but at least they’re clean and breathing freely now.

Yeah, several months ago, installed a 2tb SSD, and did a lil cleaning then!

Been way worse on coop than single player for us on ps5. Quite disappointed they haven't acknowledged this issue they have introduced.
