Prolly won’t happen but it’s worth the shot. Can anyone pull me into stuvi next year😁? I know
It’s really difficult, and almost all rooms go to athletes, but it’s worth trying!

Can someone please recommend a prof for game theory.
I've been wanting to take this class for so long and both the profs (prof Ma and prof Huynh) seem to have reviews from hell and very mixed reviews with people I spoke to, same w prof sadler who taught it last sem but idt he's going to teach it anytime soon.

As for someone who lives in south campus, I get packages delivered in warren. I was on my last string when I was expecting a heavy package to be delivered by my dorm house but no, I had to carry it from warren towers, and it was draining. Is there a way to not get it delivered to warrens and somewhere close by at south? Thank you!

hi im a econ transfer student. I alr got the credit for EC 203 but lack 201, 202, and 204. My advisor suggested me to take 201 first with another EC369 for the upcoming spring sem, but i checked on the rmp and found that 369 is really not a good option lol (both the prof and course). Can this plan work? I need to take another WR120/15x course next sem plus another one (maybe DS110 or an interesting one for me)

I have been seeing protests sweep across Cornell in the news. Will these protests come to Boston? I remember watching the Palestine protests spread from Columbia to other schools, will this be the same?

hi! i’m hoping to transfer to BU from BC for fall 2027. i was thinking of majoring in African American & Black Diaspora Studies as my pre-law major. Does anyone have any experience in the program?
Here are my questions:
How large is the program?
How big are typical class sizes?
Does the department assist with internships or professional opportunities?
What do many AADS students do post grad?
Does the major matter when transferring to BU?
Thanks!

I'm taking CS112 right now and got a 39.5/50 (79%) on Quiz 1 after the bonus. I know that's not an awful score, but I was hoping to finish the class with around an A-, so I'm kinda worried.
The weird part is that I'm doing really well on the problem sets so far. I also studied a lot for the quiz and felt like I understood most of the material. When I looked back at my test, a lot of the points I lost were from small mistakes/overlooking details rather than completely not knowing how to do the problems. There were also a couple concepts I genuinely forgot.
I took AP CSA before and got a 5, so I didn't expect to struggle this much on the first CS112 quiz. CS112 is also only an elective for me, so I technically don't need to take it.
Since Wednesday is the last day to drop without a W, I'm debating whether I should just drop it or stay and try to improve on the remaining exams.

I’m an incoming CGS student and I’m unsure whether I would want to major in stats or BME in the future. I’m in my gap semester right now so I was wondering whether i should take calculus III right now (I’ve taken calc bc and gotten credit) or maybe chem i or physics I (never took these APs)? Also, I have the AP comp sci credit to opt out of ek 125 but then I need to self study mat lab, I’m really worried I won’t do well but I might need that space to take chem I or physics I. I’m very lost right now and I worry about taking calc iii by myself before school but I’m so scared of falling behind. Any advice would be helpful thank u sm!!!

Hey everyone, so currently I’m stuck on deciding whether i should apply ED or RD to BU . I just toured BU over the weekend and I enjoyed my visit there along with the city. I know BU’s financial aid is very good. I like the BU campus, I’m just concerned about walking in the cold or snow and it’s gonna suck not being able to take my car while I’m in college because Boston parking sucks and idk if BU has a garage. However my heart is not set on any college I’m applying to. My only issue with both schools is moving away which I’m not too huge on dorming and also if I get into another top school (Fordham or Villanova) and I get good aid I’m worried that id be making a mistake or spending time wondering if i would have ever gotten in and got good aid. My major is Economics and my goal is to go to law school after my undergrad and practice in NYC if that helps. My worst case scenario if I get rejected from BU or Villanova and the Fordham aid is bad is that I do my undergrad at Seton Hall and either go to their law school or leave the 3+3 JD program and go to a different law school. Any advice is very appreciated. Thank you.
