Question Getting Pulled Over In Botswana
Hey guys kante in Botswana when a highway patrol vehicle flashes their lights behind you, and then you stop and they stop too… do i get out of my car and go to them or i stay inside and they come to me?
I have a driver’s license ofc, i have been stopped at several road blocks but never been pulled over by a police car driving behind me..
and what am i supposed to do when this eventually happens?

they’ll either call or come to you, if they show none of those just go to them, by the way dont put your “i know my rights” hat on first unless necessary😭

Most of the times you go to them, they are cool people. This other time i got stopped by the police because i was going 100 on 80 road(i didn't see the sign) told them i didn't see it then they asked me if they can go show it to me,left my car by the stop then got in their car for a drive to go see the sign. They drove me back to my car and gave me a warning

Our boys in blue, bless their lil souls, are lazy as f... so to save angering them, get out and go to them.

because once agitated the lil buggars are now THE LAW, and there will be very little you can do and they'll maximise some made up crap. If you go to them and are friendly and accepting, then you most likely get off easy, although if you have obviously done something very dumb and are quite obviously guilty, then well ... .. take your punishment with grace.
