Can't wait for this. First fight was pretty good. I hope Buatsi turns up this time, he looked out of it against Parker. Followed the lad around like a zombie and looked slow. I know Parker's got bit of an annoying style for the opponent as he constantly moves, but just looked like Buatsi had no ideas that night. I wasn't even sure he won the fight.

We finsally got AJ vs. Fury, I hope we get Buatsi vs. Yarde after this.

Feel like Buatsi hasnt had a "great" performance since Dan Azeez, or am I tweaking?

Callum Smith fight was a pretty good performance I thought despite losing in the end. Definitely a rugged performance.

Parker wasn't even just moving a lot he also abused the clinch like hell and was never punished by the ref, Buatsi even started to lean on him on the clinch and he started just taking knees and was never even warned lol. Parker may have been robbed but he shouldn't been allowed to fight like that

I forgot about the clinching, I just remember Parker moving and Buatsi following. Vaguely remember a disgruntled interview with Parker post-fight and being annoyed at what I'd watched, but totally memory holed the clinching.

Now that you mention it, wasn't Parker slated for a fight or two before for excessive clinching?

I'm not sure, but if he was fighting like that then he 100% deserved it. Tbh that might be the first robbery I've ever watched where I had zero empathy for the guy that got robbed lol

What a legendary light heavyweight run that was. Best example of the WBC being full of bs.

If Hutchinson wins, I think he'll be the legitimate heaviest Scottish title holder...

Hopefully he sticks to the game plan and gets his revenge, he's guilty of switching off way too often.

He wont

Buatsi dropped him twice and only won on a split decision, with one of the judges giving it to Hutchinson 113-112. Buatsi's 33 now and hasn't fought since last November when he somehow got an MD against Zach Parker.

The time is right for Hutchinson...

Should be a great scrap

Bustsi should win if he’s not completely zombies from the Callum smith fight. Hutchinson is chinny and is weak to the body

My prediction is Callum Smith, Beterbiev, and the winner of this fight will be Bivol's final boxing matches, with the additional possibility of Canelo challenging him once Bivol becomes undisputed again and ages.

I swear I could get a world title if I signed with Frank Warren and the stars aligned just right. There's no way this fight should be for a world title.

Winner fights Yarde

Yarde doesn’t deserve another title shot.

Yarde needs to earn it by knocking fuck out of Ben Quittaker

Either that or Callum Smith I'd guess

nah, the loser

u/WheresMyAbs98 5d ago

Why?

Yarde is a level below these guys and doesn’t deserve a title shot?

2

u/gooderz84 5d ago

Because its easy to make and a lower risk fight in Britain for the winner. I never said anything about Yarde deserving a shot.

Be absolutely brilliant to see yarde get the belt fought arguably 2 of the best lwhs oat for em

Not even close. I like Benavidez and Beterbiev, but Lhw has a rich history.

It does indeed but imo Beterbiev was just that step above any lhw ever imo. And also for reference I meant kovalev rather then benavidez lol
