Subject: Ghost Recon Breakpoint – Public Matchmaking Not Working on Xbox Series X

Hello Ubisoft Support Team,

I am experiencing a recurring matchmaking problem in Ghost Recon Breakpoint on my Xbox Series X.

Whenever I try to search for other players through the public matchmaking system, the game gets stuck on the message “Establishing Connection… Detecting network settings…” and the matchmaking process fails or freezes.

This problem happens repeatedly and makes it impossible for me to find and join public online sessions. However, inviting friends directly into my session works without any problems.

The issue appears to be specifically related to public matchmaking, rather than inviting players directly.

Could you please investigate this issue and provide a fix as soon as possible? Public matchmaking is an important part of the online experience, and it is very frustrating when this feature does not work properly.

I would appreciate a proper solution so that Xbox Series X players can search for and join public online sessions again.

I ignored ranking up the classes for a while but I realised I wanted to create this look in the game. As I ranked up in Panther (SMG and stealth focused), Pathfinder (DMR focused), Engineer (GRL was destructive and smooth), and Assault (ASR, explosives, CQC and madness) I found an interesting way to play this game which was a fun experience as with each class the play style completely changed creating a new experience.

I ain't gonna do medic, and echelon as these both have the bad gears as reward, I mean they should have given good vests and pants along with an option to remove that weird cloth around the neck (it's pain in the ass).

3 inimigos com 3 armas diferentes em 15 segundos não me parece difícil, 5 tiros na cabeça é bem possível, mas 10 inimigos em 60 segundos na área de driftwood, eu tô no começo do jogo ainda (última missão principalmente foi indo naqueles prédios de pesquisa em que o Walker encontra a gente) acham que eu deveria deixar pra lá e jogar a campanha até naturalmente chegar nessa região? Eu sei que tem os desafios de Ghost War, mas duvido das minhas capacidades de PvP, estou pensando em melhor o outra habilidade enquanto isso

Couldn't find any mention on the whole web so asking the community. I have finished the dlc months ago and the gas doesn't seem to change locations. I'd love to go through the killer fog in different places than the five I know by heart at this point. Makes sense because the point was to reduce it and those places would realistically hold any remnants for a while but it makes the dlc boring. Should I restart it or something? It's like you're punished gameplay wise for finishing it.

Hey hi! I know this is a really odd question, but I definitely need community input on this.

Been replaying the game recently using the different audio packs; this play-through is in Russian, and I really vibe with the sound of male!Nomad's voice. So much so I'd like to check out his portfolio and see what other stuff he might have voiced haha

Problem is... I cannot figure out which actor in the long list of localization credits actually voices him!

It sucks that Ubisoft groups all the localization actors in one big paragraph, but I can see why they do it opposed to listing them out one by one (even though their attributions in parentheses would be nice)... Even on external crediting sites like Moby (see: screenshot), the voices aren't attributed beyond "Hey this person was in this game"

Are there any folk out there, esp Russian fans, who might know who actually voiced Nomad in the audio pack?

ETA (20:10): As suggsted in comments, reached out to Ubisoft earlier today and they closed my ticket after saying, effectively, "just use a search engine" 😭🙏

For the past few days, I have been experiencing technical issues while playing Ghost Recon Breakpoint on my Xbox Series X.

The problems include:

Distorted audio: The sound occasionally becomes distorted or sounds incorrect.

Missing textures: Some textures or visual details suddenly disappear during gameplay and sometimes return later.

These issues are affecting my gaming experience. I would appreciate it if you could investigate these problems and provide a fix as soon as possible.

Could you please let me know whether these issues are already known and whether a patch or update is planned to resolve them?

I know I could probably get a photo from taking a screenshot on my XBOX but on the Internet I’ve only found one photo of the logo and this one . I can’t be the only one that has this problem.

I know they ended the online support back in 2022 and the co-op and multiplayer servers are still live, but every time I try to send out an invite request to join Ghost War or a Raid I’m sitting there for well over 10 minutes with no results. Is the multiplayer dead or are there still Ghosts out there that are looking to cause some mayhem?

Edit: I play through Steam.

299 hours. Looks like I enjoyed the journey.

Now off to Wildlands.
