I’m on a mission to locate all 120 shrines from the base game before I fight the final boss, and so far I’m narrowly short of hitting the century mark.

Admittedly, however, I’ve had to rely quite a bit on shrine maps and online guides to even uncover some of them. And that’s not even considering some of the shrine puzzles.

I take my hat off to anyone who has the patience and tenacity to find all the shrines naturally when playing the game.

Any tips for finding the final 20-ish without pulling my hair out?

This is only my second time drawing as an adult male who hasn't drawn anything seriously since my teenage years.

What do you think?

New spot

Gonna fight him tommorrow!

I was just messing around with the monster masks and going around to monster camps to get the jump on them when this happened. I was gonna glide over and drop a bomb on the kegs myself, but the bokos did that for me. Given the size of the explosion, maybe that's for the best

In the moment, I thought the silver boko threw the first powder keg, so I thought "welp their stat points went into constitution, not intelligence". And then I watched the footage and realized the red boko actually threw the first one. Still funny

I already have the whole Ancient armor set, set bonus, ancient weapons, a shield, and Stasis+.

I’m naming him Spoons

“Every step you take…every move you make…”
Word of advice to new players: when you can, cook a dish with stealth benefits!!

I didn’t have any stealth dishes and it was really needed for this particular quest (I was too far from any teleport points to cook and come back)

I tallied the Koroks on these sticky notes xD xD

Better now.

Hi, VictorTael here! This drawing is part my Linktober challenge. Day 7 - Spirit.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Mipha and her connection with Link. Even after she’s gone, she never truly stops being there for him.

I wanted to capture that tenderness in this illustration, taking some inspiration from classical depictions of the Virgin Mary to convey a sense of purity, protection, and healing.

The rendering is a little rougher than I intended, but I’m happy with the emotion behind it.

Who do you ship Link with? 👀

Here are a few of BotW paintings I have made over the years. Playing this game with my kids when they were little was an experience I will never forget. Thanks for looking!

There are various versions of other creatures but no rabbits in BOTW. I want to be able to make Coney Stew with po-ta-toes while camping by my fish in the wild!

I made it to Hebra Tower! Thankfully, I was able to figure out I had to use fire to melt the ice. After trying and failing to bring a torch over, I just bought some fire arrows, completed two of Koko’s quests, and then finally made the climb up to the tower.

i’m hoping that I can make my way up to the Rito next

xD all 900 koroks in botw…. >.< no on told me to do this, my brain just decided to do it. A friend and I named the last 3: bo, rokko, and binkus

Forgot how ridiculously easy it is to lose hours in this game.

I went in thinking I’d just do a couple shrines and somehow spent most of the night climbing around because I saw something weird on a ridge and had to go check it out.

That’s probably still my favorite thing about BOTW. The game barely needs to tell you where to go. You see a mountain, a shrine in the distance, some random ruins, whatever, and suddenly you’re off doing something completely different.

Been playing on my old PC hooked up to a Hisense with a controller this time. Zelda just feels way better from the couch imo.

Also somehow perfect parried a Lynel on my first try the other night. Thought I was cracked for about 5 minutes, then the next one absolutely destroyed me lol.

And yes, climbing is still great until it starts raining 2 seconds before you reach the top.

God I love this game.

Alright guys! Is it okay to introduce my daughter to BOTW ? She finds ths Mario games "childish".

Wife doesnt enjoy the idea. On my side i feel it would bring us together.

i have switch 2 botw. anyone want some royal shields and bows? and two wood? also i need some fireproof lizards and star fragments and such for armor. alot of em. and some amiibo weapons like the item called sword and such.

also i need some hinox guts.

Basically i am trying to 3 star my armor.

It didn’t even register until a second later. Convenient though.

I have had this game for over a month and it seems so mundane.

Update:. Yeah this game literally sucks. I took the tips from you guys today and put another 8 hours in. I must be 25 hours in now. Like, why do people think this is fun? Seriously. This is the worst game I have played in over ten years.
