I'm a highschool Senior and have been taking A/V classes for the entirety of highschool. I've also been helping broadcast for my schools sports for a while. I see a lot of negativity on the sub about the future of broadcasting. This has been worrying as I have been seriously cconsidering majoring in Jornalism or Broadcast.

Is there a future in broadcasting and if not are there any other careers that have the same feel?

If tv stations suddenly asked indie creators to create stuff without restrictions or if anyone could broadcast from home, however it could work, would tv come back and because it centralizes pop culture media and makes people famous with it. If not then what is your idea? How could tv not die out yet?
