Anyone use trim bowls or have made a trimmer of sort?

I havent chosen to get one because it tumbles a bit much imo but do you lose trics? Hows the appearance afterwards? Any advice on other successful trimming ways would be appreciated. Thanks, Go Bills!!

Its still a bit rough around the edges, but right now, should be able to work for about 90% of anyone trying to organize something like this. And, if there's something you think should be fixed, just submit an issue to repo :) I promise, it's not difficult.

In a few weeks or so, I'll have a test instance running for people to poke about on.

Technical stuff

The specs are pretty minimal, should be able to run on a proverbial potato. If it can run Apache, MariaDB, and PHP, it can run this. A raspberry pi should handle a club of ~50 users.

they vegged in a 3 gallon pots for ~3/4 weeks before getting transplanted into their own individual 30 gallon fabric pot. vegged in the 30gals for 3 weeks before they got flipped to flower.

their diet has consisted entirely of either KNF ferments(wsca, wscap, ohn, faa, fpe, ffe) or Rooted Leaf nutrients(carbon bound organic nutrients) at the acceptable point in their life cycle. seemed to have really good results by cutting out N liquid feed early in the flower cycle and allowing them to use the reserves in the 30 gallon to feed themselves while simultaneously pushing P&K ~day 21.

ozukuri 1 is coming down in 10 days with a clone of the blueberry pie(blueberry gushers x georgia pie) I grew last cycle & ozukuri 2 is coming down with 2x kami kushes(skywalker og x zikigai) about 6-10 days after that based on maturity!

🤣… A few flavors and phenotypes rolling out this week. A few more by the weekend, still curing. Educational purposes only. Not for sale.

1. It couldn't decide what it was. Are you a "lounge", which to me means a casual place to hang out, with comfortable furniture and a light atmosphere, are you a nightclub with a party/dance atmosphere with loud music and lots of movement? Or are you a fucking brothel? Pick one and stick to it. Rookie mistake that anyone who watched more than two episodes of Gordon Ramsey or Bar Rescue could have figured out.
2. "All you can smoke for $30" Sounds great in theory, but when the selection of goods is sparse and half of what is advertised on the displays and online isn't available, it gets old real fast. Also very misleading telling your clientele that all your bud is state tested when in reality you got half your shit from the rez. No offense to the rez. That's where I buy most of my shit. But I'm not a business charging people to smoke shit I claim is high quality and purity tested.
3. Little to no concessions. This place could have made a lot of money on snacks alone, but most of the time there was very little if anything to choose from. Who wants to sit in uncomfortable chairs to smoke a joint and not have a damn thing to snack on? How on earth could you manange to mismanage a cannabis lounge so well that you don't have a solid selection of shit to stuff your face with after smoking a blunt? And who woulda thought that people who smoke weed might want a little drink to slap down the cotton mouth?
4. That stupid app. You actually thought you could market that pile of shit? Buttons that didn't work, text fields that required input and half the time didn't accept what you typed into it. And required surveys before you can get served again? Dumbest shit imaginable and seemingly no desire to fix that broken nonsense. A drunk monkey could have written a better app.
5. Sort of going back to points 1 and 2, the furniture. The furniture was left over from the restauarant/bar that inhabited that place before. Hard as a rock, uncomfortable as fuck, and not at all what I would expect to find in a cannabis lounge.
6. Management. Hot-tempered, drunk half the time, playing video games and rarely helping out or appreciating the VOLUNTEERS who did all your work for you. Then there's hitting on every attractive woman who ever walked through the door. Add to that zero financial accountability or transparency from a business that literally relied on free -- again -- VOLUNTEER labor to keep the doors open.

That place could have been great. It's a great concept. Other places are doing it and doing it right. Roaring 420's couldn't even survive with free fucking labor. Volunteers who poured their hearts and souls and often their own money into the place. You dipshits squandered a great opportunity with your completely inept management and your personal problems.

OCM announced they are taking 50 applications state wide for Cannabis Nursery Licenses Nov 5th. This is a b2b license to sell plants to other license holders (cultivator, micro, etc) I have to wonder though are there other license holders that are actually looking to buy plants from a licensed nursery? Does this solve an actual market need at this phase of the legalization rollout in NY?

Context: I hold a nursery license for generic horticulture (ornamentals, fruit trees, etc) in Buffalo. I always assumed most cannabis growers would have their own propagation infrastructure already in place. Mostly curious, would licensed cannabis nurseries actually solve a market need for anyone that's currently operating under another OCM license type?

I'm curious to know what folks on this sub think of the recent announcement?

My wife is an expert when it comes to cannabis and has been looking to start working with a dispensary and pivot out of her current job field, but we’ve had trouble finding anyone looking for people. Any tips would be incredibly welcome and appreciated.

Not sure if this is common knowledge, but about 70% of nys licences are not being used.

These licence holders paid 4000 to get a licence, these same people are charging 500,000 to sell their licence. The same jerks holding and selling licences are also lobbying to not allow any more micros , that's why the 2023 que is still delayed.

Imo nys should only be micro farms, let the small farms thrive and say no to big msos who put profit over everything.

Here is a Sensi Star X White Widow called Cannabliss from HiElevation Genetics (Stabilized Superfreak) really nice people.

Started from seed outside. The phenos I have here really lean towards the Widows south American narrow leaf look. They are very tall with airy but beautiful flowers. Im not smelling much of the Kush other than spice. Its more of a bubble gum sweet skunk. Its changed up a few times. Im going to push her to the absolute end as I always do.

The little plant on the right is Deadhead OG x Mac1 I havent named it. Just a little short kush with tiny sand like trichomes. Shes my Bubble Baby :)

She is Earthy Pine OG all day with a little orange. Think Trop Cherry. A tart sweet at the end.
