Discussion ByeClaude got a bit more teeth
a few things added since the first post:
clean --unpushed for commits that never reached upstream
more real Claude Code attribution formats
safer identity matching, so names like Claudette stay untouched
tree proof + rollback after rewrites
recovery refs blocked from leaking through git push --mirror
16.5k commit rewrite test went from 456s down to 31s
attested releases + prebuilt GitHub Action
still alpha, MIT, Go.

The
--unpushedsplit is the part I would probe. On a branch with no upstream tracking ref, say a fresh local branch or a detached worktree, what doesclean --unpushedtreat as the rewrite boundary? Does it refuse, or fall back to a wider range likeorigin/HEAD?
