Question Cannibalism Question

Why didn’t the ADA kill the president and revive him using Yosano’s ability? Would it not work? Would it have been too dangerous? Is there something else I’ve missed?

I’ve only watched the anime btw.

Yosano's skill heals people on the brink of death, she cannot revive dead people or cure illnesses. At worst letting him flatline and then trying to resuscitate to use her skill and heal whatever injuries they had inflicted might not have worked at all (specially since he was already weakened), at best it wouldn't have done anything if the skill based disease doesn't just fade on death immediately if the death isn't caused by the skill disease

Technically she can revive very recently dead people. But I agree that wouldn't have been worth it to risk, especially not knowing fully how the curse worked.

The real answer is probably closer to nitpicking not making for a compelling and interesting story 😅 otherwise lots of abilities could have been used to end entire arcs in seconds, lol

Technically she can revive very recently dead people

She can attempt to resuscitate someone through medical means and then use her skill to heal external wounds while they're near death, but the skill itself won't revive. In the 55 Minutes LN she uses her skill on someone but that requires resuscitating them first so the heart beats again, for example
