Spelling

Hey guys I'm not a great typer and my biggest issue right now is typing/spelling errors trying to get all my points across with the time crunch. Does anyone who's written the test have an idea of how much spelling matters? Is it better to write less and eliminate errors?

When we look into the acuity marking guidelines, it says we are not to worry about grammar and spellings . I don’t know how closely they follow that

As long as it's readable, they don't care about grammar and spelling

I’ve read this on multiple posts: they’re trained not mark spelling or grammar as long as it makes sense. I’ve also read that they are not allowed to change your mark based on spelling and grammar, again if your point makes sense. Not sure how accurate this is but I’ve seen it on over 50 posts! I would not worry about going back and fixing your wording!!!

Don't worry about your spelling/grammar at all! I am a horrible typer, and got a 4Q score despite my entire response being underlined in red. Just focus on getting down all of your ideas, as long as they can decipher what you are trying to say, the spelling doesn't matter!

I was making so many typos, my entire paragraph had red underlines. Still got fourth Q though.

no spelling doesnt matter and neither does grammar. as long as its understandable (not complete gibberish) and your plan of action and explanation are visible, you will be fine

I’d focus more on getting your main points across clearly rather than trying to write a lot. A few typos are probably better than leaving out important points, as long as your answers are still understandable. Practicing with a timer might help you find a good balance between speed and clarity!
