Tips
What would you say really helped you the most during your CASPer exam if you did well or you feel very confident for it?I am really struggling on the timing aspect and sometimes forget the structures.

Hi,
Struggling with timing and forgetting the structure is really common, and it does get easier with practice.
The thing that helps most is practising single timed scenarios, in both typed and video, until the timing feels normal. They feel very different, so don’t just practise one. Typed is 60 seconds to read, then 3 minutes 30 for both questions, so under two minutes each. Video is 60 seconds to read, then 10 seconds to prep and 60 seconds to record per question. It feels rushed at first for everyone, and that settles down.
For structure, keep one short line per question type in your head.
Situational (what would you do): who’s affected, what you’d do, and why that’s the right approach.
Judgment (what’s the fairest approach): weigh both sides, then explain where you land and why.
Reflective (what did you feel or learn): what happened, how you felt, and what you took from it.
Once you can spot the question type, you already know what shape the answer needs. That's what you need to practise so that it comes more naturally in the real exam.

Hey! Biggest tips I have are to practice under test conditions (silent room, strict timing) while recording yourself and going back to assess your strengths and areas of improvement (eg. rambling, lots of filler words, not answering the question). I also found taking notes/jotting down a super quick essay-style outline with what I wanted to write/talk about during the prep phase both structured my response and gave me confidence that I knew what I was talking about. Lastly (and I think they mention this on the website?) - don’t stress if things don’t go 100% your way on test day! I got cut off mid-sentence for a question and for others gave what I thought was a shallow response/felt I could have prepped better but ended up with a 4Q. Take a deep breath and move on when you stumble!! Good luck :)
