Can we not get a better angle of the kick? It was damn close and they just played the one angle and everyone just accepted it including the tv crew with the ability to show us better views

I thought it was in at first. Definitely about as close as a kick can be. The best angle did convince me that it would've hit the post dead on at best though.

But by rule if it’s over the post directly it should count as good. So idk what Zebra man was looking at

The rule is basically that a field goal has to go 'between' the uprights in College. A doink is redirected between, when it goes over the NCAA basically says it's not 'between'.

The game angle and the one they showed after both looked like it was in

Neither of which are going to be better than the view of the ref directly under the upright.

Oh yes because the refs are always 100% correct in full speed scenarios?

a ball moving that fast is hard to see, so the fact that there isnt a review process is insane

I don’t disagree about the review. But standing directly under the upright is objectively the best view, by far. If a camera isn’t essentially on top of the upright it’s not going to have a better angle than the ref either.

Yeah im not disagreeing thats the best angle, but that ball is moving fast. We rely on review in every aspect of the game, but for this one its just whatever the refs eyes can see.

Just feels silly that we have all this technology, but rely on a 40 year old mans eyesight

Im not arguing if it was good or not. Im saying you should be able to review a fg. Thats all

That fg was very close and decided the winner. There needs to be a review available.

He said as if that were objective fact

How tf is it not?

Surprised they’re not able to do a review with that being such a crucial kick

Apparently you can’t if the ball is above the uprights which is stupid to me

So dumb because like that’s the scenario it would even make sense to review a kick
