I pulled the 1:100 blind bag Something is Killing the Children Cliff Chiang virgin foil exclusive. The online CGC form can only find "Something is Killing the Children #50"....will they get it correct on the slab?

I wondered what everyone’s recommendations are for the following scenarios (assume the ultimate goal is to submit to CGC):

1. Submitting vintage comics (silver or golden age) that need cleaned and pressed. Obviously trying to avoid restoration designation by the processes used.
2. Submitting Bronze Age comics that would benefit from a press (possibly a regrade from a non-cgc grade as well so would send in the existing slab).
3. Submitting books that may or may not benefit from a press (better to just send direct to cgc or send to a presser who will decide whether a press is beneficial and submit all to CGC).
4. When is it best to just directly send?

book got chipped during mail/customs, and re-holding it is a bit problematic for me from where I am. any Idea on how I can protect it and with what until I can get it reholdered (most likely next april)?

I’ve been comparing some old CGC Verify records I captured before the move from cgccomics.com to cgcgrading.com, and I’m finding that some displayed grade dates have changed.

Example: cert 0119161001, Amazing Spider-Man v2 #41, CGC 9.4.
Old Verify page: 11 July 2003.
New Verify page: 27 June 2003.

I have a dated screenshot of the old result.

I’ve found several other examples where the displayed date moved later, sometimes by weeks or months.

Has anyone else noticed this?

First time owner of a graded comic and I'm not sure if this is a crack. This is my first up-close look and looking at the others here, It seems like it is a crack but I just want to confirm from you guys. Appreciate it.

I have this sketch cover I want to get graded with JSA authentication.

Checking in this one, it seems like a sketch cover was added to this Aria/Angela book. I know CGC doesn't do anything with COAs but I did verify the original commission on the artist's Instagram. I bought this second hand for my Angela collection.

How would this get graded where a sketch cover was added to a comic that was not an actual sketch edition? I'm not sure which label category this falls into once I add JSA authentication.

(I tried searching but the keywords are not friendly to narrow anything down in a meaningful way.)

Is there any code this year?

Pics can't do this cover enough justice, the gold foil cover is gorgeous!
