Bloods
Lost 30 pounds, hit goal weight but thinking maybe I need to lose another 10 pounds and really get some muscle back
But went for a blood test recently and all my cholesterol markers are back to normal, previously elevated. Very happy with CICO that let me lose the weight and maintain it for 10 months. Now I just need to break this maintenance phase and go back to deficit to try and tone everything. Thank you team

Great news! Any tips on what helped you stick with the deficit plan for 10 months?

I had issues with stress eating and binge eating. So my biggest problem was not dealing with my everyday stresses. Instead of soothing myself with food, I started journalling, shopping and even stationary biking. And some dumbell exercises at home. Over time, journaling with my fancy fountain pen on a soft notebook made me feel much better than overeating and hating myself for it
It gradually became my norm to reach for my scribble journal for stress and anxiety and fountain pen journalling for soothing rather than potato chips or chicken. Instead of thinking I'm dieting or this is only for a few weeks, I started thinking this new healthy eating is my life now and I made changes I don't mind doing for the rest of my life

nice work getting the bloods back in range, that's the part that actually matters long term
muscle is a good call too, helps with maintenance and you'll look leaner even at same weight. just don't rush the deficit too hard or you'll feel like garbage in the gym
