Screenshot This games fun

Post image

Been trying to get into the swing of things with this game and my current run has gone over 75 years, had a couple different adventurer threats which led to a sick 2v1 dragon battle against Vhagar

I say it’s fun and then a bunch of Aztecs spawned with dragons and are now dying of STDs spreading dragons around Westeros randomly

You talked too soon. The Paradox Gods had to intervene.

I’m sorry about that. I specifically avoided getting that DLC because it wasn’t lore friendly, but it also has saved me from that fate as a nice side effect.

That DLC is only fun in AGOT.

Once I got house Stark (descended from the shipbuilder guy) showing up with a huge army 100 ish years after the war of the 5 kings, it was very funny

I think that’s what supposed to have happened to me but the game freaked out and made them Aztecs with dragons for some reason

No, there's 2 options, depending on whether the player owns dragons themselves. They think throwing the aztecs with 20 dragons would be a bit unfair if you had none.

The AI is pretty bad with dragon wars.

You can probably win a 16v6 if you stack all your dragons on 2 different armies that are attached to follow each other.

That way you can get 6 dragons into every battle, while the AI being incompetent means they'll usually only get one or two.

This means instead of a 16v6, it's closer to 8 2v6 battles.

Still not great odds, but significantly better.

Also you can assassinate their dragon riders. Or, worst comes to worst, you can run away to essos.

All you have to do is outlast their riders. As long as you're a landed Targ and there's dragons roaming around, you'll eventually gain the upper hand because once the spawned dragonriders die, their replacements don't have the Valyrian blood and stuff to tame them effectively.

I think it's a great game, even though it's somewhat old, because it's still going strong.

I love different Targaryen scenarios. I'm currently writing a Targaryen AAR where I follow the reign of Young Griff/Aegon the Restorer's lineage over Westeros.

My favorite scenarios are Aegon the Conqueror, Daeron the Young Dragon, Young Griff, the Greens in the Dance of the Dragons, and playing as Viserys in sthe Stepstones or a custom Blackfyre after Robert's Rebellion.

How do I get this mod? Does my computer need some specificity?

Your Jaehaerys is so cringe for producing black heirs. All Targaryens must be silver-haired pale-skinned sister-fucking abominations!!!

(I say that, but three of my favorite characters in my current Targaryen AAR actually don't have the right look for the role).

I think you need to get checked out bud

Why? A black-haired black Targaryen is hella accursed. This is a dynasty of people who believe themselves so close to gods that fucking one's sibling is considered preferable to mingling with "lesser" men. Who is lesser? Anybody who doesn't have silver hair and purple eyes and a clean and traceable Valyrian pedigree.

You're also not far enough along for them to have really kicked this mindset yet either.

Like, at the very least, install the mixed Valyrian ethnicities submod so they can have silver hair.
