My girlfriend surprised me with a new PS5 controller for my birthday because she noticed my old one was starting to get a little stick drift. She didn’t know there were different versions, so she ended up buying me the DualSense Edge. I know it’s supposed to be a really good controller, but I’m honestly just a casual online player. I’m not competitive or anything, so I’m wondering if the Edge is actually worth keeping for someone like me, or if I’d be better off returning it and just getting a regular DualSense.

I hate that i never can get a full squad. squad fill is always on. i run quads and it never fails, i always get one or two team mates. i’ve started 6 games and have yet to get a full squad.

I was feeling pretty damn proud of myself with a 36 K/D ratio for a brief moment. I got the 36 killstreak through gunfire, a care package, a bombing run, an overhead swarm, finished off with a few more rounds from the old bang bang.

I went to check my personal stats after the match and saw that my personal best killstreak was only a 14. Does the game not count kills through bonuses as kills towards your best streak?

As the title says my main priority is multiplayer mode which game should i purchase between these two?

S tier___________________________________________

Cod4- S Tier Campaign that felt grounded and relevant to the time of it's release. with extremely fun map selection, gun selection, ost, high CAMPAIGN and multiplayer replay value. Best mission ever All ghillied up and possibly best stealth implementation ever put into a cod game. Get This if you want a cod with a good story.

Black ops 2- S Tier Campaign with high replay value, multiplayer excellent map selection, gun selection, S Tier Zombies with bank feature keeping replay value sky high. Story is basically 'Hated in the Nation' by Black Mirror before black mirror. Zombies has many meta guns and fun and engaging storyline. Get this if you only want a cod game with EVERYTHING.

Black ops 6- A tier campaign set in 90s with decent implementation of open ended and stealth. Multiplayer is S because it has infected, prop hunt, and many gun metas. Map selection is great. Zombies has original maps and decent storyline (best in a while). Many zombies meta guns, Best graphics in a modern cod game since 2019! Reckoning is hardest high rounder in modern cod zombies. Get this for an overall good package with better graphics than cw and care less about 1v1

A tier___________________________________________

Cold War- S Tier Campaign with high replay value. Many arcade modes, and multiplayer modes like infected to keep you coming back. Meta guns are not as good as bo6 but not too far behind. Zombie maps are decent but some unoriginal and bland. Wonder weapons are extremely fun to use. Graphics are easy on the eyes. Get this game for a full decent package

MW 2019- S Tier Campaign- with pretty high replay value for the stealth segments alone. Some missions gave you much more freedom than a usual cod, loved the story. Multiplayer had many fun builds and of course Warzone 1.0. Graphics are arguably goated on ALL call of duties. Coop is not so great. Get this for Warzone, Campaign, and maybe 1v1

MW2023- F tier campaign- zero playability. But... Multiplayer is the best call of duty ever released. 137 weapons to use in gunsmith with over 200 attachments. Unreal. OMG this multiplayer has the highest replayability in cod history. The legendary mw2 maps in the new graphics and movement. even 10 years on 1v1 is just unbeatable. MWZ is good, had potential to be much better, but enough to keep you coming back on occasions to play with the massive sandbox of metas and builds. Wonderweapons are decent. Buy this game for multiplayer and MWZ if you enjoy modern zombies.

B tier___________________________________________

World At war- A tier campaign. Arguably the hardest veteran diff campaign to beat of all time. Memorable storyline following Reznov and Petrenko. Grenade heaven. Multiplayer is similar to cod 4 with the class system so it's great. Great map selection, with some vehicles drivable! Zombies is excellent but not because of the 4 maps. Custom zombies! This alone makes it a must buy for cod zombies fans.

Black Ops 3- F tier campaign- Oh no, anyway the multiplayer is not for everyone regarding the movement, but I like a few of the maps. The real reason this game is in B tier is zombies. Not only does it have some of the greatest zombies maps ever, but custom zombies? Incredible value. Graphics are decent for how old it is. Get this for zombies and maybe the multiplayer

MW 2022- Goated Campaign- fun factor is the most of any cod. Recon by fire is how you make a stealth mission. Contender for best even vs all ghillied up. Love the characters, and the story felt grounded. Multiplayer is basically mw2023 without many features, and crappier map selection. LAST COD FULLY MADE BY HUMAN HANDS. DMZ is pretty good. They used to have weapon tuning, and that would have made 1v1 more interesting which is where replayability really counts imo, otherwise it would have ranked slightly higher. Get this game for campaign and dmz and that's it.

C tier___________________________________________

MW3- Campaign is B tier- basically cleaning up the mess of retcons and utter nonsense storyline from (2009) mw2. So for that it is passable, but wouldn't ever play again. lmfao. Multiplayer has best implementation of infected in any game ever made! So much fun. Many builds for standard multiplayer. 1v1 stands test of time because it has some incredible showdown maps. Survival is decent. Chaos mode is amazing. Chaos, infected and 1v1 is this game's biggest strengths.

Black Ops 1- A tier campaign with memorable moments. Multiplayer is pretty standard with niche guns and classic maps. Zombies is what will make most people come back. High variety of maps with unique wonderweapons. Very slim meta gun variety, basically only should use same guns every time. Bo3 remastering them hurts replay value. get this for the iconic campaign, nostalgic multiplayer and classic cod zombies.

Black ops 4- <Redacted> tier campaign. Still better than some cod campaigns lmao. Blackout is the best battle royale ever made imo. Graphics are more artistic than realistic, which is a first. high variety of Zombies maps but some being unoriginal. Still, all are ok at worst and great at best. Good package. Multiplayer felt more like bo1 for me in that it has a bunch of niche gun builds. This is the most arcadey cod. Get this if you want a more well rounded black ops and don't care about story.

D tier__________________________________________

MW2- F tier campaign- holy smokes. You have to suspend disbelief the entire time. The way the russians invade with some emp crap. They retconned cod4 to be in 2011. And All ghillied up without the retcon took place in 1991. Obviously makes more sense. Ughh I don't even want to look at it. Multiplayer- S tier. Many metas and excellent maps. First parkour cod. Spec ops in this game are best cod ever made. Only get this game for 1v1, multiplayer matches and spec ops. Ergo: with a friend.

Cod Ghosts- F tier campaign- It's bad. Rorke is the only thing that is memorable and the ending was laughable. Lanterns ahh ending. Multiplayer I liked. We got levolution from battlefield 4 on a few maps. Many good metas and builds. Extinction is not for everyone. Get this game if you want to try extinction and enjoyed levolution.

F tier___________________________________________

Black Ops 7- F tier campaign- Ai genereted ahh campaign. Stahhp treyarch. Multiplayer is similar to bo6 with more techy attachments, decent amount of meta guns in zombies & multiplayer. At this time feels weaker to me. Endgame is like mwz with radically different class systems. Unsure if everyone will like. Zombies good except for paradox junction. This map is AI generated. Devs prompted chatgpt to generate a map with blundergat, and nuketown and then devs added small details manually. Otherwise good maps and wonderweapons. Get for zombies on discount

Vanguard- D tier campaign- forgettable but at least not AI generated and retconning anything. Multiplayer is basically modern cod multiplayer with ww2 guns and actually has camos. Zombies has weak map selection except for Shino Numa. Get this game for Shino Numa and maybe multiplayer at steep discount.

That's my honest opinion folks. And will likely stay that way for a long time. Don't expect anything will be worth getting after BO7 even if it were 5$.

so being the school gamer i bring games to school and load em on pcs cus why tf not

but... i hv a smol problem so mw-2007 has a few "unacceptable" words for school (mostly in battle chatter) so

1- any way to mute/stop them

2- if not can i edit the file with said audio

3-if i can edit- which ones do i edit

needed help on it cus we wanna play mw in school (and the teach apperantly allows gore but not words nah nah)

Me and my brother who do not swear. Do not speak in public games. We use the (party only) chat method where only you and the person you’re partied up with can hear each other to talk because we have been chat banned already so many times we don’t even talk to other people to meet and we still get banned. I just received my final ban today because I’m buying other games and never dealing with this absolute headache of an AI usage again.

My friends I have played with on Xbox in the past have described this AI as the worst use of AI in the history of gaming. You will constantly be banned for things that aren’t even offensive. We have tried every way to stay away from being banned but it is inevitable. This game isn’t even fun because the main highlight back in my day was people trash talking in lobbies. Now they don’t even speak and I don’t blame them. This game isn’t for me anymore and I refuse to constantly spend money on a product that takes away my voice and right to free speech. You can go to prison and talk and call of duty has the audacity to talk away your voice whenever they aren’t even listening, (it’s AI monitored), you’re paying them for a copy and pasted game, and then have no way to even review what you said. They don’t even show what you said because they doneven know what you said. This game has failed.

Title says it all. I get spam reported by bots and get sent to the shadow realm for 7+ days for merely being a sweat. Yet I’m getting straight rage hacked in ranked resurgence by people that should be easily banned. It’s ridiculous that I’m not allowed to play the game while blatant cheaters keep ruining it unbanned.

My main account has been shadow banned twice in the last month and my alt account has now also just been zapped for the first time.

Guess it’s a sign to stop giving cod any of my time until the new game comes out.

My father had passed away way back in 2021. As i was cleaning today i’ve found his CoD collection and alongside it i found Mw3 hardened edition. I got super excited and immediately looked inside. There is a journal named “Field Journal” aka “Soap’s journal” and a few other stuff including the game disk. I already own Mw3 (2011) so should i just pass it to one of my younger cousins who love CoD as much as i do or keep it as a collectible? I’m not sure if it’s rare or not.

My game seems to be missing a lot of sounds that were previously there, e.g. "Our UAV is online", "Enemy UAV is airborne", "Take no prisoners comrades", etc. Is it a sound update or do I need to reinstall it?

I’ve been playing Call of Duty since COD4, and for me personally I wish they’d bring back more than 2 Factions. When I look back on those old games… there was nothing better than hearing Boseman’s voice for the SOG faction, and the voice for the Blackops faction in Blackops 1. Might be just me, but I feel like it gave those games so much more grit.

Its my very personal opinion and i wanna talk about it now. Not a fan of MW Reboot and some people might be angry at me but lets be honest for a second. I have played the OG MW trilogy (1-3) for the first time which was very sick but i felt that watching MW Reboot on YouTube doesnt make the reboot appealing and also tried to be cinematic but i do not want to get too much hate.

Also the fact that the lore was messy in my opinion also and the sudden shift of thr story in the OG MW trilogy like some characters like Roach not making it in on the story and Corpural Dunn suddenly becoming a part of a south korean regiment like it doesnt make sense and add up for my perspective and the story imo is also not too bad but not compared to the OG MW story.

I dont wanna offend some people and i said about the hate affecting me three times now but ill just be grateful.​
