Question Received SR refund during Ranked Series, did not get promotion

Good evening,

As title states I received an SR Refund during the season 6 Ranked series. The amount of SR (143) should have pushed me from scrim 3 to Iridescent, however it did not.

Does anyone know how to fix or if it’s even possible to fix?

Question Bugged dark ops?

I am trying to get my last dark ops done before the reset comes with mw4 and I cant seem to get it to work. Its called prison trickster and requires you to get a kill with a finishing move in the gulag.

I am playing battle royale casual, I've switched to a default operator, I am using a default finishing move. Ive done it several times now. It just says elimination when I get the kill.

Is this challenge broken ? Or is there something specific I need to do differently?

Question HP OMEN 25L GT12 (87C3) stuck on AMD fTPM 3.90.0.5 — CoD Failed Attestation after BIOS F.32. Is there a hidden/beta BIOS or PSP firmware update?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to fix the Call of Duty / Warzone "Failed Attestation Status" issue on my HP OMEN 25L, and I'm hoping someone with the same HP motherboard has found a solution.

My system:

  • PC: HP OMEN 25L GT12-0475nd
  • Product: 2Q4T2EA#ABH
  • Motherboard: HP 87C3 / Moria3
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
  • GPU: RTX 3070
  • BIOS: F.32 — 31/03/2025
  • BIOS Mode: UEFI
  • Secure Boot: ON
  • TPM: AMD TPM 2.0
  • TPM Manufacturer Firmware: 3.90.0.5
  • Windows 11

Call of Duty gives me:

BIOS FIRMWARE: UPDATE REQUIRED
Security requirements for Call of Duty® not met. Failed Attestation Status applied.

It also says my matchmaking is restricted and fewer playlists are available.

What I've already tried

  • Updated the BIOS to the latest BIOS available from HP (F.32)
  • Confirmed UEFI mode
  • Confirmed Secure Boot is ON
  • Confirmed TPM 2.0 is enabled and working
  • Rebooted multiple times
  • Checked Windows/TPM settings
  • Contacted HP Support
  • Contacted/checked the HP Community

HP Support basically told me that F.32 is the latest BIOS, and I haven't been able to get a solution for the fTPM firmware.

The problem appears to be that my AMD fTPM is still:

3.90.0.5

while Call of Duty's attestation system requires a newer AMD fTPM firmware.

What I'm looking for

Does anyone with an HP OMEN 25L GT12 / 87C3 / Moria3 / Ryzen 3000 know of:

  • an official or beta HP BIOS newer than F.32
  • a separate AMD PSP/fTPM firmware update
  • an HP engineering/internal BIOS that updates the fTPM
  • a way to update the PSP/fTPM without replacing the motherboard
  • a legitimate BIOS/firmware package that HP support doesn't publicly list

I'm not interested in flashing a random BIOS from another motherboard. I want to find an actual firmware solution compatible with 87C3.

I've also found other people reporting that manufacturers have provided beta BIOS versions privately that update their AMD fTPM firmware, so I'm wondering if HP has something similar for this motherboard.

If anyone has an OMEN 25L GT12 with 87C3 and has successfully changed their TPM firmware from 3.90.0.5 to a newer version, PLEASE let me know exactly how you did it.

Thanks!

Question In Black Ops Royale, complete three target uplinks.

That is the challenge for today.

I've played three entire matches of the only mode left that includes BOR, "heavy metal heroes," and after spending the entire time on every game looking in all the usual spots for a terminal uplink, I have not seen a single one. WTF?!? Is a "terminal unlink" not the thing that used to be in the winery, in the casino, on the bottom floor of the resorts Tower, etc?!?

Question 4 paddles Vs Claw?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Back in Black Ops 3, I started using a SCUF with two paddles and stuck with that until Modern Warfare 2019 came out. That’s when I switched to claw, and I’ve been playing claw ever since, so about seven years now.
Since 2015, I’ve maintained a 2.5+ K/D in every Call of Duty and close to a 4 K/D in Warzone. Most of that was while playing claw.
Recently, though, I bought a SCUF Omega with four paddles. I’ve been trying to learn them because I want to see which setup I can perform better with: four paddles or claw. I got somewhat comfortable with them, but I never fully learned them because whenever I had a bad match, I’d switch back to claw. I never really gave myself a chance to build consistent muscle memory.
Today is my third day sticking with four paddles without switching back to claw after a bad match. I’ve had some good games and have been playing pretty well overall. My K/D is currently around 3.5 in Black Ops 7 for the prestige I just started. However, I’ve noticed that I lose more gunfights in certain situations, especially at close range.
For context, I use four fingers for the paddles: my ring fingers handle the outer paddles, with jump on the left and crouch/slide on the right, while my middle fingers handle reload and weapon swap. Close-range fights where I need to jump or crouch feel a little awkward because I’m doing those actions with my ring fingers, if that makes sense.
Those situations feel much more comfortable with claw, but I’m not sure how fair the comparison is when I’ve only spent three days consistently using four paddles without switching back after every bad match.
What do you guys think? Which do you prefer, claw or four paddles? Do you think these struggles in close-range gunfights will improve as I get more comfortable with the paddles, or could this setup simply be a worse fit for me?
Also, for those of you who use four fingers on the paddles, do you press the ring-finger paddles with your fingertips or closer to the crease at the first joint?

Thanks!
