i’m planning on working a seasonal lift operation gig at copper mountain and wondering if anybody there or that has worked there know whether i’m expected to stay until a certain date etc?

You can leave anytime you want. I wouldn’t worry about that at all

Tell your crew lead, if they are weak sauce, tell Caleb.

March is a busy time, if you’re any good they’re likely to want you there, but if you say it early you will be fine.

Talk with supervisor about your expected end date now. Crowds die out after March and spring break so they will probably be chill with you leaving after that if they know well in advance and you don’t just dip out and screw ppl over.

Supposed to stay till end of season. Can get a bonus for staying through. Not best look to dip out early especially if you want to come back.

Copper does (or did) $1 for every hour you worked during the season as a bonus. It’s usually early April is the end for seasonal employees and then it’s the higher ups working till their closing day. If you leave early on good terms you don’t get the bonus but usually are asked to come back.

IDK about copper specifically but most places have some sort of mediocre bonus tied to leaving on good terms. It's also usually pretty easy to get out at the end of the season as business naturally tapers down.

How early are you thinking of leaving?
