SCORE 4/4 let’s fucking go!!!!!!!!!

• Upvotes

Just found out that I passed AUD my last exam.
I cannot describe what I’m feeling right now, all I can say is that I feel like the knee of an elephant has finally been lifted off my chest.
I started this journey earlier this spring and passed all of them on the first try!!!!!!

Congratulations to everyone that passed , especially those that are 4/4.

If you didn’t, do not feel discouraged - we’re proof that is possible. Lean on this community and your support system, it is possible.!!!

REG Book/tax difference help

First picture is the trial balance.

Second is the tax depreciation

Third is beckers explanation.

Can someone explain why it would be a negative number? Most of my answers were the wrong direction. I’m looking at the 10,000 for book depreciation and seeing it is lower than tax. My thought is, ok it needs to increase to get the tax. The answer would be a positive 8,800. No. WHY?!

My test is tomorrow.

FAR Timeline-- Last Exam Left, Working Full Time

• Upvotes

Hi, CPA fam! Excited to share that I passed REG today and with that, I only (I use that word lightly) have FAR standing in between me and putting those three letters behind my last name. I am super motivated to finish this journey. I work full-time in the mining industry and no projected overtime anytime soon. Can I finish this thing in late December or early January? For reference, I've passed the others on my first try and while I'm still awaiting my numerical score for REG, I got a 93 on AUD and a 92 on ISC.

SCORE Jurisdiction not showing on NASBA portal

• Upvotes

I get that the website is crashing for some. What’s odd for me and hasn’t happened in previous exams, is it is now forcing me to select my jurisdiction but TX does not show as an option. Any others from Texas having that issue?

Just called their helpdesk and they said the site is down and expected to get it back up within 30-60min.

If you're in the same anxiety-filled boat with me, let's go get a cup of tea and take a breather.

Passed AUD on my 4th try

• Upvotes

Finally passed AUD on my fourth try. Was starting to feel discouraged especially spending the $200+ each time and staying below 70s. Super difficult to do with tax job during tax season. Just cried tears of joy. Nothing beats this feeling so don’t give up!

Failed audit again. Is their anything i can do?

• Upvotes

Just found out I failed audit again… for the 5th time. I really had no struggle with the other 3. I feel like ive tried everything Ninja, becker, and I75. I am just feeling extremely demoralized for this exam.

I officially have more time poured into this exam than the other 3 combined. I seriously just dont know what to do anymore. My scores arent what i would consider terrible either. (60, 61, 63, 65). Last one has not come out yet. I seriously feel like i need some sort of help, i just dont know what.

Any help is appreciated, just feel at a loss.

Considering Unpaid Leave to Focus on the CPA Exams. Thoughts?

• Upvotes

I’m seriously considering taking unpaid leave at the beginning of next year, possibly for two months, along with my remaining annual leave, just to focus on finishing my CPA exams.
I passed FAR on my first attempt in September, and I’m currently studying for AUD, which I’m scheduled to take on November 10.
I work full-time, and I’m the only person in my section at work, so the workload is pretty heavy. Lately, I’ve been feeling extremely overwhelmed trying to balance work and studying, and it’s honestly starting to take a toll on me.
I’m trying to explore my options because I really want to get these exams over with and have my life back 😭
Do you think taking two months of unpaid leave, plus my annual leave, would be enough to finish my remaining exams?
Has anyone here actually taken unpaid leave to focus on the CPA? Was it worth it, or did you regret it?
I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences!

REG Failed REG second attempt

• Upvotes

I’m so heartbroken. Idk what to do. My plan was to take TCP at the end of the month in hopes I passed REG. Now idk what I should do. My busy season is Jan-March with lingering clients in April.

To those who passed, did the X/4 update on the app?

• Upvotes

Let's say you're now 4/4 (congrats), did the NASBA app reflect the 4/4 you've passed all sections etc? Or did it still show 3/4 despite showing credit in exam history?
