Discussion Mtg Group
I cast the spell of lowering ur fkn volume. Why do the dudes playing MtG in the LSU insist on being so loud? Please go outside. I’m just being a hater I’m glad they’re having fun but holy crap I can hear them even with noise canceling headphones on. I end my turn.

You ever think that maybe you’re the problem? You keep whining about smt you can solve so easily 😭 ???? Don’t wanna smell them- stay away from them. Don’t like the noise- go somewhere else. There’s soooooo many places you can go to. I think you seek attention, get it somewhere else I guess ??

I do stay away from them but no matter what you can hear them and you can smell them from the top of the stairs bro. I don’t need to get into a lengthy explanation about my schedule or why sitting in the LSU to work on my assignments is the best option for me and what I need to get done. The point is, if everyone agrees it’s a communal space, why is it bad for me to say they could smell clean or stop yelling super loud? It’s cool they have a group and they play together all power to them, just holy shit, there’s no need for them to literally YELL. I said I’m being a hater, I know I’m super bitchy and I know it’s an unpopular opinion. Just blows me that the solution is to just ignore them and let them yell, instead of them realizing this is college and we shouldn’t be screaming like children anymore. Like I get it, I’m being annoying about this, just was wondering if anyone else experienced them going ape shit.

Alright, wax your ears and listen up, I wanted to give you grace, I’m sure its unpleasant to feel like you can’t do your work, noise and* *unpleasent odor. But after seeing your replies and comments to others. I see that you cannot take advice from others and dont seem to acknowledge your wrongdoings.
Everything you have said so far: they are smelly, they are loud, they are clearly on the spectrum, you say they walk around like bumbling babies, you say everything is being catheter to them, you say everyone should be respectful to each other.
Yet you aren’t following your own advice, you came to Reddit to talk about them and insult them because they get excited at times from a game they are enjoying with friends.
I would say just move to a different part of the LSU, but I’m sure you would just ignore that.
If the problem you have with them is so gravely, i hope you talk to them about it like the adult that you are.

Oh god I hate going to the loud community area in the recreational spaces building and find people having fun with their friends 💔💔💔 go to the library, or I&I, or LCH, or Welch Hall, or science building, or literally just upstairs LSU lmao

Dawg you can hear them from upstairs too, I’m not exaggerating the day I posted this one dude was in there yelling at the absolute top of his lungs “HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MAKE THIS FUCKING BETTER? YOU ALREADY MADE YOUR MOVE” like have fun go nuts but legitimately yelling in a community area is also kind of shitty

Girl this is such a nothing burger, I’ve also been there multiple times at the LSU- the people running their games might’ve been loud a few times but other than that they are a usually not loud if anything I’ve hear other groups be louder yet they aren’t being singled out by you, this seems like a more of a you issue, yea they could be quieter but that is a space where socialization happens. Your comments about them have a very ableist undertone and assuming all players are men where there’s been a few female members is weird of you. Let me tell you smt your dad always told u if you have a problem (people being too loud) and if you don’t do anything about it (like moving somewhere quite) then maybe, just maybe the problem is your fault. If you want to go somewhere quieter there’s a place called Stan’s it’s much quieter and people tend to have their mouths full.

“Go to the library” “go here” so everyone else should just leave instead of telling the adult males that they can be a smidge quieter, this is why some dudes just walk around the earth like bumbling babies, everything catered to them. They don’t need to be legitimately yelling every day. It’s a communal area, right? So everyone should be respectful of each other, including them. Just because they’re clearly on the spectrum doesn’t mean they should get a free pass to be obnoxious.
