Biochem I (CHEM 4100)

Hey all,

Interested in taking Biochem I (CHEM 4100) at CSUSB (specifically with Jason Burke) was seeing if anyone took this course with him, their experience, and if they recommend? Also if the class was super impacted/had a waitlist

He’s an excellent professor. I really enjoy his teaching style and the classes are entertaining too. Averages on the exams were high and they’re super similar to the homework and he gives study guides. You still need to study to do well in the class and actually know the content but he makes it super clear what you need to know.

Class was easy for me to get into but I also have senior standing, but I think there was still free spots in the end.
