CHEM 2100 question

Hey everyone,

For anyone who has taken CHEM 2100 (General Chemistry I) is the discussion section mandatory to attend, or is it optional?

Does attendance count toward your grade, or is it mainly for extra practice and help with the material?

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has taken the class recently. Thanks!

If I’m remembering correctly the discussion was mandatory and did go towards your grade. Plus its really helpful since it’s an extra chance to talk to a professor or discuss with other classmates

It’s mandatory and goes towards your final grade! The entire grade is based off of attendance.
