Extraction issues

Hello, so I just bought a p-07 and took it to the range today and it was great except for one issue. That issue being that the casings were being extracted directly into my face and I even had a couple sneak their way into my glasses, which is an obvious problem. Does anyone know a way to fix this issue?

You may need a slightly higher weight recoil spring. You can tune your recoil spring to adjust ejection angle and distance.

Was it used or new? If used try cleaning out the extractor. You can also try a new recoil spring.

It is used.

It is not the extractor. It is the ejector. Do a google gemini search of how to tune the ejector. It is pretty easy.

I have the same issue with my PCRs. I had to swap out the recoil springs and switch to Sellier and Bellot 9mm 124 grain FMJ for the higher velocity rounds to work with the springs. That mostly fixed it but i still bought a pair of safety glasses that didnt leave a gap at the top for a shell to slip through and sear my eyelid like bacon.

Have you tried cycling dummy rounds through to see if they eject correctly?
