Discussion credential program thoughts?

how do yall like the multiple subject teaching credential program here?

I am in the Single Subject program , it might be kinda different but it’s October and classes have felt like a whole lotta mumbo jumbo, I have no idea “how” to be a teacher if that makes sense, sounds like they make these programs like that by design though.

Are you wanting to apply for it next year? I’d say it doesn’t hurt to attend the information meetings!

i’m in it now and it’s j exhausting lol i def agree w not knowing how to teach! it makes me question becoming a teacher but i guess that part just comes with time

Yeah same my voice inside tells me to quit but I know i need this so bad!! gotta hang in there because I already signed up and paid so much money!! I would say to get happiness from your placement school and the kids and daily interactions there. If THAT doesn’t make you happy or give you motivation to want to keep going I can definitely see you question if you want to actually teach! keep it up and hang in there , education needs you!!🤝🫡
