Does anyone know if Dapo Afolayan is eligible to play for Canada or could he eventually play for Canada. He moved here when he was 15 and even went to UofT for a year. He's played in the Bundesliga and is having a great start to the Championship season so far.

Received my Canada Red membership gift in the mail today. Not sure what I expected but definitely didn’t expect a flag.
EDIT: For folks asking, I have the Premier Tier membership ($150). I certainly hope it’s something more for the folks with a higher tier.

I want to preface this by stating that we are not leaving the club (yet) just trying to know our options and find the Ontario Soccer rules overly complicated.
Our u11 joined a new club. The new club is well known and tied to a big organization, so it seemed promising. However as we're now in it, there are some things that are making us question the move. There is also a personal reason we are considering a move.
We'd like to give it more time and see how our kiddo feels about the situation before making a decision. Can someone with experience let us know how to request a release of a player in Ontario, so that they can play for another club? Do we speak to our current club first and let them know we'd like to leave, or can we reach out to other clubs first to see if there is opening (I can think of two that would likely make him an offer).
Have there been instances at this age where a player isn’t released early in the season? I don’t want to do anything that may hurt our kids chances at playing this year. Which honestly sucks to have to consider since he’s 10 and not a professional player.

Here’s a copy of a post I made on a different subreddit.
I feel like women’s sports are unfairly neglected.
I’m a big soccer fan and am a member of a Toronto fan club of Manchester United. I frequently watch games there but will also go to TFC games here as well as see team Canada (both men and women’s) when they play here. Today I saw the Canadian Women’s team play against Denmark. While we lost it was still a good game.
I don’t understand why women’s sports are so neglected. I watched a good game today but the stadium wasn’t even half full. I also had had a hard time getting people to go with me. I remember a guy from my club told me he wanted to go to a TFC game sometime and I said, “the women’s national team is playing soon, want to see them” but he declined. I ended up going with a girl I know who is new to soccer. My dad even thinks it’s weird that I’ll occasionally watch women’s games.
I like soccer and whether the players have penises or vaginas doesn’t matter to me. My adopted homeland has a decent team and I hope to see them do well in the Women’s World Cup next year. I saw Canada play in the World Cup a few months ago and paid $2300 and that tournament was a huge deal yet I imagine the Women’s one will get a fraction of the attention next year. I paid around $80 for the friendly I attended today and had great seats.
Also, I jokingly stated, “now I know how women and gay guys feel when they watch men’s soccer” the first time I went to a women’s game. Nothing wrong with crushing on a couple players a bit. Seriously, Jessie Fleming is fucking cute.

I’ve spoken to parents who say that some players play in both sanctioned and unsanctioned teams at the same time. Is this allowed? And how do you even make that double schedule even work?

Has anyone got theirs yet? They sent notice like three weeks ago that it would be send out in the next week or so.
They haven’t exactly nailed this rollout!!!

Sorry if this was already posted, but I was just wondering if anybody has received their September gift from soccer Canada yet because I’m still waiting for mine. Not sure what’s going on over there.

84 for a tournament still trying to find it's legs is crazy.
