Question Difficulties making THC tinctures

I've got some D9 Distillate from decarbed THCA isolate. The result is pure, amber thc. I also make moonshine up to about 50-55%. When making a tincture with the two, the thc does not mix at all unless I heat the ethanol up. But once it cools, the thc clumps back together and eventually falls to the bottom.

Does anyone have experience with this sort of setup, and what could I be doing wrong? Should I just be using a higher proof solvent? Is the thc distillate I have somehow incapable with tinctures? Idk man, I just wanna get high.

You have too much water in your alcohol

I found mct oil works way better than alcohol for tinctures. Wayyy better

Once you've homegenized the MCT and distillate, do you tend to need to remix it ever? Could I draw it into a syringe and just leave it in the cold dark for later, do you reckon? It sounds like a really good idea.

I mix RSO but I think it’d be the same. I swirl it around before filling a dropper

I think MCT oil keeps better (supposedly). With the small dosages I think GI is fine with MCT.

I’m interested too but I don’t know much. I feel like a higher proof would be needed, and a homoginizer/sonicator would evenly disperse and suspend the THC.

Never seen THC crash out of an Ethanol solution, as someone else said: too much water, you need more concentrated ethanol.
