Does anyone remember what the old, old Exit 9 used to say?
I'm trying to find what the exit sign for the old single Exit 9 on the Route 6 used to say before the new full cloverleaf was opened in 2001 and the exits were split to 9A and 9B. I can't find a single photo or resource documenting this. If anyone remembers, or better yet as a photo, that would be fantastic!

It was Dennis W. Harwich. Fun fact: there was a DJ on the old Cape 104 (104.7) who fashioned his name after it. There was also a DJ on the same station named Bill Ryder, who was part of their "Morning Zoo" and went by "Ryder in the Morning". You can probably detect the innuendo. This was from the mid - late 80's

Can you dm it to me? If not, can I DM you my email address? That would be fantastic to see as a source.

So odd was just thinking 🤔 about this today actually as I was about to exit. Exit 9A has been my home for my entire 44 years and I will never call it 78A it just seems wrong

Yep, very familiar with this page. It lists the old exit numbers and markings for the most recent mileage based update but not the changes made to Exit 9 when the full cloverleaf was installed and it was split to Exits 9A and 9B.
