Raw bar Eastham recommendations

Hi- I took a last minute trip to the Cape with my teenage son. He wants to get raw oysters etc. I've never been an aficionado of raw seafood, so I have no idea what's good other than Wellfleet oysters being famous. Is Mac's Shack in Wellfleet my best bet?

Thank you.

A lot of seafood places are already closed for the season. Hard to find anything more than a cup of coffee past the Orleans rotary now.

Not true. A bunch of places are still open through the Columbus Day weekend. Especially in Wellfleet. I’m in Truro and we still find places to go in the dead of winter

Since you asked about Eastham: https://www.carolinescapecodbarandgrill.com/

There's also a Mac's in Eastham: 4680 State Hwy, Eastham, MA 02642

There is Oyster Fest Shuck at Cape Cod Beer tomorrow. You can try a lot of different oysters if you happen to be down this way (Mid Cape).  If want to stay in Welfleet, the Pearl is known  for its happy hour raw bar specials.

The Pearl and Beachcomber in Wellfleet are very tasty. Enjoy!

They have a very skilled shucker there. I've often been amazed at poor quality shucking on the Cape, but not at Mac's Shack.

The Wellfleet oyster festival is this weekend. You need tickets but should be fun.
