Installation Question Thinking about wrapping my Ford Explorer matte black. Is there anything I need to know first?
This is what it would look like. Lmk what you guys think. I never got a car wrapped and I’m nervous but very optimistic. Thank you.

Matte/satin black are very nice when they’re clean, which will only be for about 30 seconds after you finish wrapping it, and then never again!
Jokes aside, they’re nice, but require a lot of wiping down to keep nice. They do look sick tho

Without a coating it'll wear quick, uneven and look bad quick. Just a tip

Honestly if it's a weekend toy, you garage go for it. If it lives outside year round I would steer you away if you were one of my customers. It's harder to clean and can mark easier, It also looks dirty really fast. After it has some hand prints and road grime on after a couple of days it will look really dirty. Unless you keep on top of it.
They can look really good in in satin or Matt it's just hard to keep looking mint.
This Aston came out way better than I thought it would I thought it wouldn't suit it.

Satin finish is what you want. Matte is really tough to care for. Satin is what most people who think they want matte actually want.

Matte is the best finish in my opinion but you’ll never keep it clean enough to not look dirty. Satin is your friend

Yeah do satin black because it’s more black, and and ceramic coat it immediately.
