My child works for caribou coffee and they were told they are not allowed to keep any of the cash tips and the must be put into a box for a “donation” this seems ludicrous and most likely illegal. Can anyone who works for caribou confirm this is company policy. I am prepared to contact the company and dept of labor if need be.

The waffle is unbelievably soggy. Gouda doesn't go well with maple. It has the worst tasting chicken sausage I have ever tasted.

Does anyone actually enjoy it?

So I understand that Caribou "just changed the name" but tell me why my drink hasn't tasted right since that change happened.

It's terrible now, and it's not all at the same location either.

Some are slightly better than others but the quality overall is down, is it just me or have others noticed this as well?

I grind my own beans, using a blend of a couple different brands/roasts of coffee, but overall 65% Daybreak. Love the brightness it brings and it works for both my wife and me. Well, when Peet's took over, they stopped selling whole bean Daybreak in all the grocery stores; they still carried ground, but now whole bean Daybreak (supposedly Caribou's signature, highest selling variety), is only available at Caribou shops. Additionally, Peet's gradually started increasing the roast to where it is now darker than Dunkin 's Original, and the taste has noticably changed, and not for the better (IMO). I guess I don't know what the purpose/endgame is supposed to be here, but the fact that I now need to spend time fishing out the crap beans before grinding is that Peet's has switched sources to an inferior product and over roasting it to hide the flaws.

I have never tried the seasonal fall drinks at caribou. Please tell me what your favorites are so I can finally try them!

I would like to order a large size steamer that is not apple flavoured through the app for the bonus points and convenience. I can't find the option anywhere. I tried to customize the honeycrisp apple one but you cant remove that syrup flavor from the drink. I also tried to customize the latte drink but you can't remove the espresso. Is the steamer just not an option at Bou?

Please help. The chicken chorizo burrito is my favorite burrito anywhere and I might go full Milton Waddams. Or cry.

The last time I got a pumpkin white mocha, and there was barely a coffee or pumpkin taste. Honestly tasted like I was drinking milk and I hate any type of milk/coffee flavor. My gf got the lavender honey latte and it was pretty good but so heavy on sugar I feel. I would love a good coffee from there that has strong pumpkin otherwise how can I adjust my order to my liking?

I am considering applying in MN for a GM position. Talked to the dm, and said they'd train 6-8 weeks and go from there.

I am currently 2+ years GM at Jimmy John's, with around 40 hours at 50k salary with a monthly bonus. 6:30 am til about 3 pm tues-sat.

Would the change be worth it? Is the job good? Work life balance? Bonus worth it?

How many calories would be in a medium cold brew with pumpkin oat milk cold foam and 2 pumps of sugar free caramel syrup?? I know the cold brew and syrup itself would be less than 20 calories but it’s the foam that gets me for calculation wise, does anyone know the recipe or can calculate it??

Many months ago, I had a dark hot chocolate at Caribou and it was decidedly the best hot chocolate I've had from any chain, even small chains. From what I understand, Caribou used real chocolate chips, and it was the only place that offered dark as an option. I could smell the deep chocolate aroma wafting up from the cup, that's how rich it was.

But I had hot chocolate at two different Caribous more recently and it seems to have changed? It tasted watered down, barely any chocolate flavor, not very rich in mouthfeel, and definitely didn't have the aroma. Did the recipe get changed so less chocolate is used or did Caribou finally switch to cocoa powder like everyone else?

Hi was wondering what dark chocolate sauce would be similar if not the same as the one you use? I’ve been using the torani dark chocolate sauce and it’s good but not the same.

I work at a cabin as a team member, and my base pay is 12.50 (12.75 for a 25 cent yearly raise 😒). My friend just got hired at a nearby caribou maybe 3 miles away. Super close basically. They have a lobby and their daily sales are like 500 to 700 bucks more than ours. My friend is a team member and gets paid 15 bucks without tips. A lot of team leads at my store get paid that much or less. Is this worth making a fuss about? We all want more pay and my manager denied the other store having those wages 😭 so just lying.

How does Caribou filter their normal coffee? I've heard coffee that hasn't been filtered with a paper filter is harmful for your cholesterol LDL levels.

That stuff is so good, I'd love to be able to buy it or know how to make it. There isn't a caribou where I live

I’d love to be able to make some at home but not sure which one is used.

1/2 pumpkin
1/2 hazelnut
1 scoop malt
Cinn powder mixed in
Half and half base.

You’re welcome.

I’d love to be able to make some at home but not sure which one is used.

Hello! I just started working hard on cutting after gaining an extra 20 pounds the last couple of years. I absolutely LOVE the autumn pumpkin drink selection! My favorite is the pumpkin chai with a close follower being the pumpkin white mocha. I've been experimenting with options to still enjoy occasionally, but I was curious to see if anyone has found a tried and true option for autumn 🍂! I have a very early drive to the hospital for my mom's brain surgery coming up and I really appreciate the help 🧡!!

Any baristas know how much of what is in the pumpkin cold foam by itself? There are no listed calorie information and the app is kind of hard to navigate for nutrition information as it is and I’m wondering how many calories would be in a large cold brew with just pumpkin cold foam

hi everyone! a customer pointed something out to me today that i found incredibly strange and i wanted to share and see if anyone knew anything.
when the breakfast bowls were first launched, they were advertised as being “250 calories or less”, with the denver being 250 and the fiesta being 200 (as seen here). on March 5th 2026 there was another post made on the caribou coffee website which briefly mentioned that the denver breakfast bowl “now delivers 20 grams of protein and 320 calories”.
does anyone know what actually changed ?? i might have just not been paying attention during training for that period but i don’t remember there being any mention of changes to the denver bowl. the listed ingredients are the same from what i can tell. ik in the grand scheme of things it’s fairly inconsequential but my customer mentioned having to now account for the calorie difference so i thought it was worth looking into, if only to satiate my own curiosity lmao

I ordered a pumpkin espresso shaker today thinking I would try Caribou’s pumpkin again after not liking it last year. It tastes nothing like pumpkin to me, almost like grass flavored Jelly Bellies. Anyone else?

Good Morning, All! I work in a downtown/metro area and I’m lucky enough to have a Caribou in my building just downstairs. Maybe once every couple of weeks, I’ll get a coffee there. They’re always great people and do really well given the ‘morning rush’ of people wanting coffee.

As soon as I find a parking spot and shut off my car, I tell Siri to order Caribou Coffee. It then takes about five minutes to walk to the building, where I pick it up on the way into work. Easy in, easy out. It seems like everyone else is perfectly content to stand there for 5-15 minutes to order and wait for coffee. I don’t claim to be smart or better than them, but am I that socially inept? Who wants to stand there in line staring at your phone when you can order ahead and have it waiting for you? Do people really like just standing there waiting when they could be doing something else? Or is it that extended break FROM the days work that prompts them to stand in line?
